hello there, it may seem like that but in fact the cylinder in still trying to get the right pressure built up in the cylinder for the right pressure, remember the champion is brand new and never been run before this time here. SO everything needs to build up the right pressure. Honestly I don't see it struggling at all because I am the one running the cylinder arm to move it in or out. I can stop the arm and retract it at any point. Thanks for your comment.

Split some branched Elm and get back to us.. that darn wood is just as easy to split sideways as it is lengthwise! I seen some of that wood break a 25ton splitter because of the nature of how it splits forcing the wedge sideways and twisting it
@brucegreen1016
@brucegreen1016 18 күн бұрын
hello there, thanks but we do not get any elm up here we just have spruce, pine and popular trees. I don't split unseasonal wood meaning wet wood, not dried. Can't burn why try. Contractors use wet wood to fill the rest of the order so the person doesn't get all the dry wood in one order and the customer gets stuck with all that unseasonal wood all years without burning it until it dries out more. Plus wet unseasonal wood is harder on the cylinder pushing rod, we only get about 24inch round trees up here not much bigger. So the best I can do is wait for that 24 inch tree to clear from all the snow and put it on the splitter upright and 18inches long, what fits the woodstove. That won't before awhile though. thanks for the comment

Mr. Bruce , Could you please tell me where you got the stand to service the generator and what it is called ? Thank you in advance for any help you can give me sir

ya that's a "atv or motorcycle jack", got it from Canadian Tire, I'm sure you can get one at any place that sells atv or motorcycle stuff, bought it for my 400 ATV, but it only can lift half the four wheeler, so I also use it for my bigger generator to work on, so it's not on the ground and I can sit on a chair.

to make the gyro-light to flash, you have to connect it to a spare channel on your receiver. For exemple, if channel 1 is your throttle, channel 2 is your steering, channel 3 is the up/down motion of the boom, and channel 4 is the bucket, then you need to connect the servo connector of the light to channel 5 of your receiver. If you're still using the electronics that came with the default kit, then it's more complicated, and maybe impossible to link it to any RC channel (maybe you could try to link it to the horn channel, although I don't know if this is possible at all with the default electronics).

awesome, thanks a lot for the tip, I will try do that. there is more then 4 ch on the e594 receiver? I'm wondering if the e594 can be made into a 2s with esc to operate it. That's where I would like to go with the e594. I would also like to do that with the A40g volvo dump truck, can it be done? I would like to use dumbo receivers because I bought the DDF-350 for my truck and would like to use it for the construction equipment. Any thought on this project if it is possible to do. thanks again for the tip.

@hknokke 23 күн бұрын
@@brucegreen1016 Bruce, you would have to replace the electronic that came with the e594 with new stuff (and that involves a lot of modifications). To upgrade the E594 from a toy to a hobby grade RC vehicule, you would have to replace the default combined ESC/receiver with a better receiver with more channels -at least 6 channels (to be able to control all the lights and sound functions separately, as well as the left/right/forward/backward motion and the boom and bucket motion). You would also need to connect the wheel motors to better ESC (either a dual channel ESC for tracked vehicles, or two separate ESCs for the right and left side). You might also want to replace the reductor for the electric motors by one allowing a much slower speed (I find the E594 way too fast even in low speed). You would also need to install a separate sound unit (like the Das Mikro ultra small sound unit). Since the E594 is very compact and space is at a premium, you would have to select carefully the components,and it will be a real hassle to find small enough stuff, and a bit of juggling to have everything fit in such a small space. Ultimately, I would recommend you to try to upgrade the E594 only if you find fun to tackle such a challenge and overcome the difficulties, as otherwise, there is a risk of getting frustrated and abandon the project. Have a look at the videos on youtube of peoples modifying toy grade stuff to make it RC (like peoples modifying the Bruder toys or peoples working with even smaller scale like 1:43 or 1:87) to get ideas and to see how they try to solve the problem and what electronics they're using. I wish you good luck, fun and creativity in improving the E594. It is a good basis for such a project.

thanks for your thoughts on this. I new it would not be easy to do but possible if I could find the right electronics for dump truck and skid steer. Excavator will be done with the 1592 upgrade parts I bought already. There is no upgrade parts for the dump truck and skid steer that I can find, so I'm just looking at different electronics and motors for the right fit. But thanks again for your thoughts.

How much oil do you add for first time change ? Is it 5/30 or 10/30? Thanks
@brucegreen1016
@brucegreen1016 Ай бұрын
I used the oil that came with the generator to break it in and put 10w30 in after that and ran it a few days then switched to 5w30 after that and still running 5w30. I just figure that the thicker oil can fill in all the cracks first and then the thinner oil can ride on top of that. The generator can only hold 500ml of oil, you can put less but it won't last as long, engine has oil shut off if the oil is to low and will not start until the oil is added. The generator will always have oil in it after the oil change so you might not get 500ml in all the time, use the threads to determine how much oil is in there, two threads from the top is good. At the (4:28) mark of the video I say " one more of those and we are good to go" I use a 250ml bottle to add my oil. PS, don't put the eco throttle on when breaking it in, keep it off until you are ready to use the generator. thanks for the comment and watching the video

@@brucegreen1016 I have an Everest 10 i have been trying to figure out a compatible battery tray something that can hold a 3a 11.1v zeees lipo it’s bigger than the stock Everest battery. I also am trying to figure out how I can have top posts to mount my body I don’t like the side post mounts. You got any suggestions?
@brucegreen1016
@brucegreen1016 Ай бұрын
so how much bigger is the battery then the try, will it fit into the same spot as the tray, if not, you might have to relocate part to make it fit or make yourself a very thin tray to screw into the frame and protect your battery. Just a reminder that the heavier the battery up top will cause the truck to be top heavy. I don't own one, but just looked one up on youtube. Another thing is to look at Aliexpress for parts and pieces to make it fit, they have lots of rc things, like body posts, might find your parts there.

I'm sure I would be walking around with my gun if we were still allowed to drive around with guns hang off the back windows of our trucks on gun racks or just allowed to be armed, Canadian firearms laws. We have a lot of wild animals in the winter here too, no bears(sleeping). We have a lot of wilderness for them to roam and keep to themselves without human interactions. Lived out here for about 20 years and had no problems with wild life yet, 🤞, the gun is the last resort only, they do more on. Ever try bear bangers, they are loud, puts a big scare into the animals, they run fast and far, they do stop and look back but I think that's just them looking for any holes. lol. thanks for the comments

This white stuff we call "hell frozen over" is way up in the northern part of Canada, YUKON TERRITORY, mosquitoes and no see ems (very small blackfly) in the summer high 27c and freezing temperature's in the winter down to -45c. Beautiful land to live in and call my home, where my people lived before me! Fresh water lakes everywhere, glacier feed creeks where we get our drinking water from when out on the land. Very green with lots of forest, few forest fire last year, human caused and lightening strikes. Then it all get cover in that WHITE STUFF, lol. about 5 to 6 month of it. thanks for the comment

@brucegreen1016 lolll....that's hillarious...I ran in the same issue with link lenght, between batches...mine were pretty close though....so I was able to just do the same pattern 8 times and it worked on both my trucks, I run 2 s and avoid spinning the tires as much as possible just to avoid digging the softer trails, they been holding up great on my end as well....pro tip....make sure your connecting hook points along tire rotation...I had one catch my coil spring and damn near ripped it right off lol
@brucegreen1016
@brucegreen1016 3 ай бұрын
wow, that would of sucked, lol. Right on, I only when with 11 because it looked more like the real thing to me with the scale trucks wrapping the tires and also I run 7.4v, 3s tatuu 2200mAh 45c and could bump it up to 8.4v with the esc I have I both rigs. I do have most of mine facing front but I put a couple facing the other way to test them for that reason, nothing happened yet. It looks like they don't reach my shock springs, I have about 10mm to 15mm clearance from touching my shock spring at full compression on both rigs, the bronco I rub the front fender with the tire chain when turning and full compression, nothing on the cross 6x6, I only buttoned up the servo line underneath for diff locks, it was hanging and bent from this summers adventures, lol. Just to make sure I got it out of the way and closer to the frame as possible. I just used a link from one of those stupid chain they sell with the red hooks, good for something I guess, lol. I also have the same problem with soft snow, its hard to drive in without sinking to the axles, that's why I have the big winch on both rigs hooked up to the battery. 👍😁👌 thanks for the awesome comments

Ya, I figure this is like splash proof, never fully emerged them into water because I'm not sure if the battery will swell. Going to add liquid electrical tape to the batteries later to seal them. By the way did you get a chance to look at my remake of the double motor warn winch video I made. I was wondering about feed back from the two versions if better or worse, with or without music. Also made a short, showing parts on how the snow chains were made, if you want to make a set for yourself 👍. I had to hide the numbers because when I bought more of the same chain, the loops and links where smaller, so I need to add one link to the longer pieces

Disappointed its begun to use oil hope it doesnt get worse or this is an indication of future failure. Otherwise its been flawless as was the predator 2000 i had prior. Louder than a honda but fair for the price I guess. Today for the first time I coaxed it into starting and running my Dewalt hand carry 4 gal 4.5 cfm compressor. 15amp running more to start so thats impressive, the predator wouldnt even budge it.

When it died out on me I needed to get a new stepper motor, gaskets for carb and exhaust also cylinder head gasket. I cleaned the cylinder head, carburetor, fuel filter and tank. Reset the valve's and all was good for a while then the carb flap came off and went into the top of piston head. So I had to buy a carburetor myself because they don't sell just the flap.
