How much did you cut off as this is how I like spines to, not as wide.
@dulynotedtx
@dulynotedtx 2 ай бұрын
I'm not sure what you are referring to. The pre-made spines that were plain (not die-cut) on the sections that didn't have the glue (the pieces that wrap around and are seen on the front and back of the book) I probably cut off anywhere between 3/4in -1 1/4 in. I just eyeballed what looked balanced to me. I hope that helps and answers your question. If not reply back and I'll try to answer better. Thank you for watching!

Although I appreciate your concept for the video, I found it very difficult to watch all the way through for a few reasons. After your intro with you in it, the top down view is extremely close up so you can’t quite see what all is happening. Also, about 22 minutes in, something must have happened to your sound because I hear your voice over but then you talking in the background saying different things. During this time as well, the view changes to where it’s so zoomed out that it’s hard to see what is happening like when you were showing where the glue was coming apart on the back cover. I’m not sure if it’s because of the way you’re filming and if you’re using your phone because you’re switching from holding your phone in different directions all in the same video so it’s making the overall video to not be full screen. I also cannot zoom in on my end because KZbin is telling me it’s a vertical video (like when you hold your phone like normal). I just thought I’d let you know because I’ve noticed this in basically all of your videos that I have watched as I have just come across your channel and have recently subscribed. I really wanted to enjoy your room tours but every time you switched to filming sideways from vertically, the video on our end is still vertical so everything I saw was just sideways. I am in no means trying to be negative at all, I just hope it’s helpful and you can maybe find a more suitable way to film so us viewers are able to watch and be able to see everything you’re wanted to share. I’m not sure if you ever watch your videos after you post them or not to make sure there aren’t any issues so I’m not sure if you are aware of how them come across for us.

I appreciate you watching and sticking it out. I do record on my phone and with unboxing videos or room tours I dont go back and watch them. When I make cards and do a voice over I'm obviously watching them as I do the voice over but again use my phone. I was not aware of the vertical to horizontal view thing and you not being able to zoom in. 😒 Sorry you had to watch the video with like a crazy awkward head tilt. I was struggling getting everything in the screen and so I tried to maneuver my phone holder and light into unknown territory for it. Thank you again for watching and sticking it out. I appreciate your time. Going forward I may have to do things a bit different so it's easier to watch. Thank you again.

They are amazing. They even have youtube videos showing you how to put them together. You can put it together by yourself, but I've found having an extra pair of hands very helpful. I think they now offer them in white and already assembled. I save the extra bucks and do it myself so I can buy more ink pads to fill them 😀 . They are a very handy storage solution for me. I really love that vinyl holder and putting pics or cards on a string. I saw where IKEA had shelves for slanted ceilings, but they were no longer making them when I looked for them a few years ago. If you've got a handy husband, you might be able to convince him to make you shelves for slanted ceilings. I imagine places like pinterest and etsy have plans for them. They seem easy to build but are above my head. I'm not handy in that way at all. Hope these suggestions help. Thanks for watching.

How do I join a challenge like this?
@dulynotedtx
@dulynotedtx 6 ай бұрын
Lots of craft companies have challenges. Others are independent. Some challenge you to use different colors, different mediums, or they can get really specific to a certain release or item like a stamp set or die. A lot of crafters have holiday series they do during this time of year. This was just my version. I've played along with the Pinkfresh Studio challenge of the month in the past. The cool part is some challenges come with prizes. Others, it's just the fun of playing along and trying to stretch yourself as a crafter. I hope that answers your question. Thank you for watching my video. I really appreciate your time.
