So you are removing a safety device the water sprout thats only used with the Yamaha brand to mount a selfie stick? Is there another way to mount the camera stick I would had thought that a safety device would be safer for yourself and fellow riders

Great videos :) The breather in that place is putting hot air in the front part of the ski which could be injested from the air filter, I would put it further back, (however you have that hole in the front for more cold air)

@@JeTsKi_MiSfItSmakes sense. I appreciate that man. I got an upgrade from JLP for my 2018 1800 and it came with titanium retainers but no new spring or spring seat so I found this very interesting. Thanks again! The only thing is I wouldn’t know where to buy them, or how to make sure they fit my engine. I went to supertech site and they don’t have Yamaha as one of the options to chose. I don’t if they have a different branch that deals just with Jetskis or anything. Would you mind shining some light on that? I appreciate ya!

Just because something sounds good… sounded metallic to me . Unless it’s aluminum or 316 SS I don’t think it’s the right choice. Plus having metal bouncing around in my ski is also not desirable. Then you have the price. $139 really. Not my idea of a bargain. But spend your money as you see fit. I just bought two very similar but smaller anchors for $15 each. All plastic the are called umbrella anchors da!

I hope these didnt cost more than those things you screw into the sand to hold beach umbrellas because those sre literally the exact same thing except not plastic... I think they sell them at that beach store next to hurricane hanks or at alvins or just about any ot the other tacky tourist trap stores on ami for like 5$
@JeTsKi_MiSfItS3 ай бұрын
@@1zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzful yeah try using that beach umbrella screw in chop water 🤣 I know what you're taking and it's not the same. Not even close but if it works for u in calm water then go for it
@1zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzful3 ай бұрын
@@JeTsKi_MiSfItS I'm not saying they are or would be my first choice ever except maybe a kayak and I would never use a sand bar anchors as anything but a second for anything either but I don't jetski and if what I was trying up was only 10' or less maybe I would think differently. Idk... but those first 2 sand bar anchors you showed are literally the exact same thing just more expensive longer and heavier I assume... try it before you knock it.. also, I'm literally just talking about at the sandbar where you just were filming and beercan on the calm side or in the lagoon.. or anywhere else shallow and calm I guess too.. they don't extend, but it never gets that deep there anyway. They twist down in that sand in about 30 seconds and in a pinch they have held everything I've needed them to from a paddle board up to a 22' Grady center console and everything in between that Ive needed it to and I only found out about it by accident bc we forgot a second anchor one day and I figured it would work as a cleat to keep the boat in place for a while.. all that said I I'll take a fortress or one of those wedges like that lady's that you showed over just about anything all day everyday. Added in edit: the only time it didn't work for me there was once when we had to park too close to the bridge and the current kept ripping the sand away but that day ever boat more than about 30 yards off jewfish was having their anchors lose the hold regardless of what they had down so I don't really count that day. But yes I would say you're right strong currents choppy or deeper than waist deep water I wouldn't even try with them but I wouldn't be using any of the twist in sand bar anchors you showed either.. Having said all that.. great video, great review looked like a great day out there... It's just like they say opinions are like assholes everyone's got one and most arent good for anything more than shit.. but today this asshole happened upon your video so you got the hear his opinion lol sorry brotha wasn't trying to argue was just bored and on the internet lol.
@1zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzful3 ай бұрын
For clarification I kinda lied in that reply, I haven't used them on everything in between a paddle board and a 22' Grady I only used them on kayaks, 16' skiff, 13 and 15' whalers, 22dlv skiff, 18' solo skiff, 16' hells bay, 21' sea hunt, a few 20' hurricanes, a 19' Grady, a 20' pontoon boat, and an 18' flats boat that has been repaired and restored so many times I don't even know if I could tell you what it is other than a bunch of mis matched fiberglass repairs with a few seats a motor and a steering wheel lol.. but u right it was always calmed water light current and used as the second anchor not the primary... but anyway, just wanted to clarify a little lol. Take care, have fun, stay safe and keep up the good work on the videos and reviews. ✌🏻

@@1zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzful this is an old video. Since then I've found a better American made quality heavy duty auger anchor gorillajackd.com I tested it out in a storm & screwed it into rocky sand to see if I can break it.
