Thanks for the video, you gained a sub. Also, if you havent played with Labs, they have great free instruments, including several pianos. Their 'soft piano' as really decent, but a bit more for lo-fi/mellow songs.

Hey, thank you for the sub! I actually have tried Labs and I agree it's good stuff. I actually just splurged a bit on Keyscape recently so I'm playing around with those recently.

Hi Synth Designer, thanks for the video.. one offtopic question.. your little intro on every video.. can you do a tutorial and share the preset of it please?

Hey, unfortunately I don't remember how I made it. I must've chosen a random preset, but there's no way I could guess which one. If I ever do find it I will let you know!

Love the video. Great work, as always. One thing though, would it be possible for you show the process of making chillwave songs like Hotel Pools from scratch? Like starting a fresh project and going from there? It needn't be anything too good. Just to show the basics of knowing what elements to pick, how to use them, what sounds good together, drum patterns, etc.
@SynthDesignerАй бұрын
Hey, I actually have a video dedicated to making a Hotel Pools song. It's technically not from scratch as I picked the sounds beforehand and put it together, but I definitely go into detail. As far as starting a song from scratch, it's definitely something I plan to do, but it won't be out until a little later this spring/summer. But 100% it will come out!
