Hmm,what a video..There’s so much work involved in lifting the blinker lever, and what a sweat you must have worked up to open/close the doors ….

It is a LS3 402....not a 396.In 1971-1972 Chevy called it the Turbo -jet 400.,The literature from these years doesn't even mention the 396 name any more......and I believe that tru SS had amber parking lenses up front.

If it was only a Biscayne on it's original steel rims with the dog dish hub caps, totally my dream car since I was 14 back in 66'. It needs that radio ripped out and speakers holes fixed along with a radio delete panel for the dashboard. With that power plant, that's the only entertainment required!

Back when these were new, I wanted one badly. Too bad I was only 12. lol The only thing that drew me away was that the Judge was still available. The T37 was the lowest price midsize Pontiac. The GT37 was a way around the pricier GTO, but still just as fast. I heard it might be faster because it was quite a bit lighter. All options on the table. The Lemans was equipped with a lot more sound deadening and various details that made it nicer throughout. Still, this was a highly desirable car and I would love to have one. Badly.

My first car at 17 was a 67 firebird. It took 50 years to get another one I'm in process of restoring it to my original and the color is Marina blue.

I don't see as many of those generation Chevy & GMC C/K series pickups on the roads as I use to back in the day, same with the Suburbans, Tahoes, & Yukons.

In addition to the '72 front fenders, the parking lights are '72 spec. The interior is also a '72 interior. The grilles are the only '71 spec items I see.

She is a tad more than just rare...only 572 examples made with 400 engine in '71 and more than half of those were automatics! Total run was 5802 cars of course most of the rest were 350 / auto cars - with only 69 built with 455s, some being HO engines...

I don't I don't think it's an SS there is no chrome on the upper fenders and the Malibu SS is on the quarter panels are back too far and the SS emblem on trunk lid is in the middle too far plus SS's have console and bucket seats

I owned a 72 T-37 (not a GT) and it had a 350 auto with buckets seats and console. Very nice car, and like this one its rare. My only complaint was that it had fender skirts and I hated them. The skirts pretty much knocked the sport right out of this beautiful sports car. Needless to say I took them off prior to painting it.

AS it should...wow I wish my 1970 was that nice....I have a 400 4 speed PHS documented, however the old resto is cracking up. I Rebuilt motor to Ram Air III specs and damn she runs great. I drive the living berjeezers out of this thing -two tanks of gas every week May through October every year...Very few people seem to know about these cars!
