Love the red-bellied woodpecker tongue! Topsfield fairgrounds is great for migrants. Two years ago there was a Wilson's Phalarope....hopefully something rare and interesting shows up over the next few months!

Until the Mockingbird, I thought I was watching a birding video from Essex England. I was thinking, wow, it's better than I realised. Then I saw a Great Northern Diver called a 'Common Loon' & thought why did they use the American name ? Great video, stunning visuals.

The call of the Mockingbird is truly legendary. When you hear one of them sound off it is absolutely amazing. It's been a long time since I have been to Salisbury beach reservation. It's truly a beautiful isolated place.

Great shots from Parker River.I absolutely love the Bill forward pool and spent many hours there back in the late 80's recording my sightings. Most spectacular was one day when a peregrine falcon decided he wanted one of the green wing teals feeding there.I saw him dive bomb from very high into a flock and the teals just rose up when he was right there in the middle of them.He was not successful...but the fast turns he made singling out a teal was unforgettable.
