Please, don't mislead the year of the New Year of this video where now is still 2022. That event has occurred in the Summer of 2022, so it should be Hmong Arkansas New Year 2022. Summer of 2023 is still to come, your title of this video was more of foolisness.

You are wrong. Don't be foolish! Haha! There are many interpretations of Hmong New Year. Are we celebrating New Year 2022 in October 2022? Are we celebrating New Year 2023 in October 2022? Why can't we celebrate New Year on December 31st so the next day will be Jan 1 of next year? You tell me. If you can get the organizers to answer these questions, that would be great. Whatever the organizers or host say, that will be the answer. Otherwise, all answers are correct to one's own interpretation. For me, I only celebrate the new year, I don't celebrate the current year, I don't celebrate the previous year. @@SabTomNo Please, think about the common way or the right way to call it, don't just go with the organization where they had called it wrong. One example, the Chinese New Year that occurred in January or February, when they celebrated the New Year of that year they did not said they were celebrated of the coming Year.

@@yogkkoojj6570 thanks for the concern. I agree with you 100% we should have a single date for new year celebration. I wish I can resolve the issue but I don't think the population will ever agree on one way. It's kind of like my birthday. Do I have time to celebrate on the actual day, before or after? Haha!
