Not really. Islam‘s recognition is overshadowed by islamistic terror and the reluctance of non-islamistic Islam to distance themselves from it. Muslims took over European science in Persia, translated it to Arabic and developed it furtherly until it was decided, that divine revelation trumps knowledge and science. That‘s how Europe after overcoming their own clergical restrictions during the renaissance slowly got ahead. Backward views about women‘s rights and many other fields are a setback to islamic cultural impact. The world has moved on.

If that's true (that Islam is a religion of peace and avoids conflict) then Sura 2:190-262 should removed from the Quran, as many more verses.. And also the Hadith need some clean up. So [1] study your trusted sources (Quran & Haddith) and [2] please be honest. - Thanks !

The Quran is a divine text that addresses various aspects of human life, including war and peace. It is important to understand the historical and cultural context of these verses, as well as the overarching message of the Quran. Regarding the Verses in Question: The verses you've mentioned (Surah 2:190-262) discuss various topics, including the rights of believers, the prohibition of certain actions, and the permissibility of fighting in self-defense. It's crucial to interpret these verses within their proper context and to consider the broader message of the Quran, which emphasizes peace, compassion, and justice. The Principle of Self-Defense: Islam, like any other religion or ethical system, permits self-defense. This is a fundamental right that is recognized by both religious and secular laws. The Quran explicitly allows for defensive warfare, but it also emphasizes the importance of peace and reconciliation. The concept of just war in Islam has specific guidelines and restrictions, ensuring that force is used only as a last resort. The Importance of Context: It's essential to understand the historical context of these verses. Many of these verses were revealed during a time of persecution and conflict. The Quran addresses a wide range of situations and challenges, and it's important to interpret its teachings holistically. By studying the Quran and Sunnah with a sound understanding of Islamic principles and the historical context, one can arrive at a balanced and nuanced interpretation of these verses. It's crucial to avoid selective interpretations and to consider the entire body of Islamic teachings. By doing so, we can appreciate the beauty and wisdom of the Quran and its guidance for humanity.

Umm.. okay, but a woman above all else desires to be protected. Thats what we want. Also, id like a marriage where Im the only one. Thanks, God bless. Jesus is Lord, our saviour
@TopStoryPlus2 ай бұрын
While it's understandable to desire protection and exclusivity in a relationship, it's important to approach these desires with a balanced and informed perspective. Regarding Protection: Divine Protection: All humans, regardless of gender, are under the protection of God. This protection extends to both physical and spiritual well-being. Mutual Support: A healthy relationship is built on mutual respect and support. Both partners should strive to protect and care for each other. Regarding Exclusivity: Monogamy in Islam: Islam promotes monogamy as the ideal form of marriage, emphasizing loyalty, commitment, and mutual respect between spouses. The Concept of Family: Islam emphasizes the importance of family and community. A strong family unit provides a sense of belonging, security, and support. It's important to remember that a truly fulfilling relationship is based on love, understanding, and shared values. By embracing these principles, individuals can build strong and lasting bonds. If you have further questions or concerns, it's always a good idea to consult with a knowledgeable religious scholar or counselor.

The Quran and Sunnah provide guidance on how to handle difficult family situations, even when they turn against you: Patience and Forbearance: Quranic Verse: "And seek help through patience and prayer. Indeed, it is a burden except for the humble-those who are certain that they will meet their Lord and to Him they will return." (Quran, 2:45-46) Prophetic Teaching: The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) emphasized the importance of patience and forgiveness, even when faced with adversity. Maintaining Ties of Kinship: Quranic Verse: "Give to close relatives their due, as well as the poor and ˹needy˺ travellers. And do not spend wastefully." (Quran, 17:26) Prophetic Teaching: The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) strongly encouraged maintaining ties of kinship, even with those who may mistreat us. Seeking Divine Help: Quranic Verse: "And put your trust in Allah, for Allah is sufficient as a Trustee of Affairs." (Quran, 33:3) Prophetic Teaching: The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) taught us to rely on Allah for help and support, especially in difficult times. Avoiding Backbiting and Slander: Quranic Verse: "O believers! Avoid many suspicions, ˹for˺ indeed, some suspicions are sinful. And do not spy, nor backbite one another. Would any of you like to eat the flesh of their dead brother? You would despise that!1 And fear Allah. Surely Allah is ˹the˺ Accepter of Repentance, Most Merciful.." (Quran, 49:12) Prophetic Teaching: The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) warned against backbiting and slander, as it can harm our relationships with others. Setting Boundaries: While maintaining ties of kinship is important, it's equally important to set boundaries and protect yourself from harm. If necessary, limit your interactions with family members who are toxic or abusive. Remember, the ultimate goal is to maintain a peaceful and harmonious relationship with your family. By following the teachings of Islam, you can navigate difficult situations with patience, forgiveness, and wisdom.

As a geologist I hate to throw sand in the face of this creator but the limit of radiometric dating using Carbon isotopes is roughly 50,000 years whereas all species of non-avian dinosaurs went extinct some 66.4 MILLION YEARS AGO.
@TopStoryPlus2 ай бұрын
Dinosaur fossils are significantly older, dating back millions of years. To accurately date these fossils, scientists use other radiometric dating techniques that rely on isotopes with longer half-lives, such as potassium-argon dating and uranium-lead dating. These methods can accurately date rocks and minerals that are billions of years old. Therefore, while carbon-14 dating is not suitable for dating dinosaur fossils, other radiometric dating techniques have provided strong evidence for the age of dinosaurs and the timing of their extinction.
