@@ArtFluids for good reason. Its digital control section is specially tailored to its CPU operation. So mine is re-designed analog control serving the original core filter topology.

@@theouterplanet It's a stereo pedal that sounds rather amazing stereo per other videos I've seen, so it's a fair question to ask why the video was uploaded with mono audio. Especially when you can see he used the pedal in stereo.

Nah it’s factory, previous owners cleaned the matte coating from the plexiglass.

@@gstormelectro Super shiny! I thought I would prefer that, but looking at this one, I think I like the matte finish better. I just ordered a new front panel from Sweet Discrete, who use the same manufacturing materials and process that Oberheim used. It wasn't cheap, but I'll have a Matrix 12 that will look like it just came out of the factory. Thanks for the info and thanks for making and sharing this video. This is an incredible synth. Mine is getting fully restored. I could have bought a new modern synth for what it's costing me, but it's worth it. The M12 is that good. Cheers!
