Ridiculously overcomplicated and not what either the Everly Brothers nor Mark Knopfler plays. Sounds more like flameco!!

Interesting take. I’m thinking you’re just not a solo finger style player. All good.

Thanks, I learned this by ear back in the 90's and wanted to see if I could improve on it, I think I did that ✌🏼

I'm getting stuck on this because there's some kind of weird tremolo picking keeping me from getting it to sound right. I'm trying to add it in, which I pretty much learned from Dick Dale, but I'm just putting it on the wrong notes or adding too many notes.

Thanks for the tab, though. Great work!

Thanks for the positive comment! Not sure about a lesson for the whole arrangement as it would be VERY LONG. Possible though. FWIW- I do teach private lessons on Skype if you're ever interested. I'm somewhat retired but I still take anyone who is truly interested. Big thanks again!

I do not have a video on the whole tune. I did put a link to the chord changes and melody in the description. I believe it says lead sheet by the link. FWIW - If ever you are interested I do offer lessons on Skype.

Nicely done! Just what I was looking for. I can see you put a lot of effort into this and you saved me a good amount of time! I was planning to add this song to my repertoire but need to sing it in a different key (F or G). As a solo guitarist, I wanted to find a good arrangement for this song and you nailed it! I’ll use your ideas for transposing it to suit my voice. Thx again!

Excellent cover/lesson. I just added this piano coda to my cocktail piano repertoire and it is always fun to see the OLD people in my area try to figure out what it is and where they know it from. I get 'hey, that is from THE GOODFELLAS soundtrack' more than I get 'Hey, Layla'. That past was someone elses song they baiscally scotch taped and let Duane go nuts over. RIP
