He Whakaputanga was not just a 'statement' lol it was written in contractual form then gifted to our rangatira through a flag & is much more than that which this has been said & is also recognized throughout the world. Also it was not a declaration, it clearly states it's a proclamation in the first sentence of He Whakaputanga. King William IV of the Hanoverian Kings monarchy had recognized Nu Tīreni as an independant kingdom & had created this countrys first constitution. Te Tiriti a 'peace treaty' has only allowed the Pakeha to be recognized here through their kingdom.

Over too soon - powerful words and thoughts. Honestly I hadn't previously understood why there was such backing for Palestine, other first Nations I get & support but I don't think I truly understood Palestine's position before. I was always of the opinion that we needed to care for our own people first but I now understand that it will take all first Nations to rise together... Please let this push further ahead

@stephenlennon7369 We make a global announcement to the UN - United Nations and all other countries pledging that we are now signing the divorce papers with the unfaithful Crown enduring 200 years of abuse, theft, dishonour, disrespect, racism, lies, hoodwinked, biased, belittled, extortion, displacement, insulted, forced colonisation. For all the descendants of the 500+ Chiefs who signed the United Tribal Federation 1835 and the Treaty of Waitangi 1840 to sign the Divorce papers with the Crown. Once this happens all power and authority returns back to Rangatira. Pakeha to be deported back to england paid by Crown. Option 2: War. All tribes to unite and prepare for battle with Pakeha. Either way its going to happen if you agree or not? Something has to happen....the HATE between Maori and Pakeha is to great. We will never live in harmony together. Its time for pakeha to go! One of the main motives and agendas of settler colonialism is to eliminate the indigenous population and critically eliminate indigenous forms of sovereignty, whether it be political or by force, and then replace them with settlers and settler colonial sovereignty through a colonial foreign dictatorship system. Once you understand this, you understand that this has been an ongoing struggle and suffering for all indigenous people across the world since the invasion of their lands by the hands of the colonizers

This site is full of racist activist rhetoric based on MISTRUTH. I personally think everyday nz maori who are hard working and getting on with life are amazing. I have absolutely have no time for racist radical activist extremists that make up tpm or elite radical Maori. You are the divisionsl separatists creating unease and dissention in nz. There has been good and bad on both sides. Now is the time to move on and work together and build a multicultural society. Genocide or ethnic cleansing does not exist in NZ. Only passive genocide where maori have chosen to marry into other cultures and watered down their own culture. Maori represent a high percentage per capita in high ranking and highly paid jobs in govt, in council, and in the professional population. There are 160 cultures in nz and all of these cultures have those in poverty. Those who have health issues, those who struggle with mental health, those who cant afford food. Stop indoctrinating negativity and deception to young nzers. You cant keep living in the past. As i said there was good and bad on both sides but you only talk about one side. Over 45 years ago my son was being taught maori in school and he was really good ar it so stop saying your language has been taken from you. Other cultures take responsibility to teach there children there cultures and language in their homes. Maori can do the same in addition to the specific tereo educational institutions for children.

Watching this I feel sadness and anger for what has happened to Māori. Now on top of the past we now have foreigners selling off and living in our homes whilst Māori live in cars and on the streets in our own whenua tells me successive colonial governments have FAILED our people. We need a revolution, tinkering around the edges aint gonna cut it moving forward when you have a colonial Westminster system that couldn't care less for Māori and would rather we die off never to be seen or heard

Go for gold but pay for it out of your own pockets. It's a democracy and as long as you stay within the law and not like the Manurewa marae debacle your most welcome to try. Ask John t, Rawiri n Kiri, Debbie and all TPM members to front up along with willy Jackson and all of the rest of you wanting this. It's wokness gone mad as a hatter. When you preach this racist separatism you are harming all 160 cultures that live here. You are no more indigenous than I am. Your chiefs did cede sovereignty, you have profited very well from all the cultures that now and historically make up the population of NZ. There were civilisations here before you.

""If you look back in our history at the breaches in terms of following in those early formative years , 1848 the treaty was signed the first article of their treaty was a breach of who you are, in the sense that it assumed that other Iwi had the right to make a determination for other Iwi because in that article it says ,the Federation of Iwi gathered here binds all other Iwi who are not here to this particular treaty. That right never belonged to a Iwi except the Iwi who is making their proclamation themselves and I've always been grieved by that because we as Maori have a propensity to look at those things and say one size fits all "" Dr Api mahuika - -He Ara Whakamua 2011 It is limited in its scope and not really applicable to my Hapu but very important to the descendants of the signatories , and they are the ones that should benefit from it...not us

Hongi Taraia Peeni. While I acknowledge the evils done, it was an evil that by necessity brought God’s Grace. Interesting fact, like most indigenous people, our legends find their origin from the Holy Bible. Paikea, the whale rider, taken from Jonah; Maui vs the Sun, taken from Joshua. That being said, I'm not saying we have special rights is being God's people but legends have origins of truth, most get exaggerated through oral transmission around the hangi pit. The best thing that could ever happen to indigenous people is the Gospel. The colonisers have such beautiful feet, they brought the gospel of Christ to our ears where salvation from the wrath of God is offered freely to all without prejudice. I realise I may get called uncle Tom etc, but the truth is we are better off. We would still be eating the hearts of chiefs, or worse, not even exist! By by God providence, he used a necessary means to bring the gospel to our shores, to which we should praise him for his Magnanimous saving of savages!
