Now I don’t really know these OCs but some REALLY cool things I noticed about your character portrayal through this animation is awesome! like at the very beginning the main guy seems very composed, with his glasses he appears almost like a well dressed sort of keeps his hands clean out of the fray type deal. But as soon as he tosses aside his glasses it’s as if that posh well dressed persona goes with it and he becomes more “feral” in the battle and demonic with the sort of claws he has. Another thing about his opponent using the hands as a sort of ability which is SO COOL I love the details of them tying back to the clock she has for an eye, being probably the hands of a clock, and a certain part of the animation we can see that clock on her eye tick down as if she is running out of time to subdue the man. Which finishes beautifully with him spearing that clock to basically put a stop to the time of the fight and that her time had run out. Of course I could have looked a little deep into some things but that’s what I noticed I’d LOVE to see more of these guys!

How the actual frick does this have 700 views??? What????? I'm hoping that, since the Carybridis video is (rightfully) taking off, more people will backflow into this one like I did because this is genuinely one of my top 5 animatics I've ever seen. I legit don't like webcomics, but I just opened the webcomic to read because this hooked me in so deep with the characters. (I can already tell plant girl and disaster Himbo in a trench coat are going to be my favorites). The motion? The animation on the corkboard? FUll transparency: I clicked this because I saw a corkboard and I was looking for ideas of how to write a very specific scene involving one and this is the single best corkboard scene-right next to Pepe Silvia. Like this is perfection and I'm obsesed. Subscribed!!!

I am absolutely in LOVE with this video omg, the amount of fun you were having making it really shines through in the animation, it's extremely inspiring to watch!! Makes me want to go work on my passion projects :D Keep it up, you're going to be an absolutely god-tier animator if you keep putting this much effort and passion into your artwork!!

I love when magic has limits. It gives a fight actual stakes, which creates investment. Clock Hands is able to summon up to 12 hands (b/c 12 hours on a clock), but he can only use 3 at a time to attack (b/c 3 clock hands). Since he’s perpetually using the hour hand to hold himself, he can only use 2. This means he has to use one eye to track his opponent while simultaneously moving the hands on his eye to the numbers of the corresponding hands to attack. This puts a HUGE amount of mental strain on him, especially if the opponent is fast like Shadow Wielder. It also means CH is at a serious disadvantage in this fight. But SW isn’t invincible. He’s unhinged, doesn’t fear death/pain, & his shapeshifting power seems only limited by his imagination, but it doesn’t extend beyond his own body. This means he has to use speed to get in close before attacking. He wins this fight b/c being a manic works in his favor. His opponent can’t keep up w/ his movements, & his psychological jabs destabilized CH even more.
