This setting is excellent option for boot speed, but keep in mind also cause stability problems. If you face up BSOD or other unidentified errors occur try disable this setting, when system boot up properly enable it

Fantastic video. Recently I tried Metro Exodus EE and was underwhelmed to say the least. The extra lights and reflections that RT provided to me at least felt like it completely destroyed the grim dark atmosphere of the original. With RT on, the frame rate also took a significant hit for what can only be described as a "different" visual experience.....not better, just different. At least in its present implementation, RT is not a game changer.....maybe in a few years.....but not now.

with the right tweaks, the boot times shouldn't be much slower than ddr4 systems and should bench higher in everything except pure apples to apples latencies. otherwise what was the point of an am5 upgrade?!

Hello! I just bought a Ryzen 7 7800x3d with b650M-A II with 6000mhz ram, and after i updated the bios, i had bios startup time like 60 secs. Pc was working perfectly smooth but startup time was a bit too much. After watching your video, today 14th of november 2024, and enabling memory context restore and disabling fast boot, my bios startup time is 13 secs, 10 secs and so. Thank you very much! A subscribe and a like from me for the help i got! God bless, take care!

Devellopers are too focussed on increasinly good looking graphics, we have come to the point where you need 5x the GPU performance to make graphics look 10% better, devellopers should just make a game with good graphics and focus more on gameplay/optimization

As a developer i can say that the Games are less optimized because Shareholders are pushing to release the Game faster, because of technologies like DLSS or Frame Generation. The Games on PS5 are also not running how you except them too, obviously they won't run with 60 FPS, more likely they will run with 30 FPS. Thats why the PS5 Pro is the go to for Console Gamers.

If this cable is not a good replacement from the manufacturers garbage, bulky 3 slot that comes with a 4080 Super, than WHICH brand do you go with!! This is getting ridiculous! There has to be ONE alternative that you can use, that has good bendability and is still very reliable. @Hardware Accent Can you please help? Or is the Corsair Premium 600W PCIe 5.0 12VHPWR PSU Cable okay?? I'm building a new PC for the first time, i have the 4080 Super, i just want to get the right connector....sigh.

1) the 12VHPWR connector is NOT proprietary to Nvida. 2) Corsair does not make power supplies, they sub them out to PSU manufacturers. 3) Corsairs decision to not have that connection is purely a cost saving not having to change their design.

I recently heard a KZbin content creator call the 3080 a low range card. I'm not sure how or when that happened, but some of the games that have been released these last few years have me concerned. While my 3080 is a 12gb variant, a lot of games seem like they're capable of utilizing more than that. My take is that minimum and recommended requirements are leveling up faster than a lot of pc gamers can upgrade their rigs.. additionally, if a card like the 3080 had launched with a 24gb version, it might still be considered high-end🫰🤏. One of the biggest contributing factors is the state of the economy. My favorite brand of eggs is over 8 dollars, and gas is expensive, too. It's likely that developers are being made to focus primarily on graphics instead of game loops and mechanics - the things that make gaming fun.

Games costing 10x more than 10 years ago yet being MUCH worse optimized and unfinished tells the story… what do you expect from us consumers? Idc about their working conditions, if I did I would stitch my clothing myself lol… but no one does… Games aren’t about fun and enthusiasm anymore. This is what happens when your passion gets fully capitalised…. No one cares about the thing anymore, companies are just chasing the $ without even thinking about consumers… Edit: and it’s widely known fact that game devs are just pathetic human beings not capable of taking responsibilities and actually doing good work… devs yapping about actual good and successful games like ER or BG3 showed us their true nature… just some incels thinking they’re great shite..

Is still high power usage on video playback for this card for single monitor? Test done in 2023 shown for 7800 XT a 44 W power draw on video play back. My 1080 Ti takes like 17-20 W for video playback even that a game load can be 280-290 W on 2K. Not sure I'll go for 7800XT just yet. Otherwise red team offers 256 bit VRAM for acceptable prices but, idle and video playback power draw is not something I will accept.

Memory Context Restore on my MSI B650 Gaming Plus does indeed speed up boot time however it will disable my ability to restart the PC AT ALL. In fact I can't even enable EXPO properly without the PC becoming unable to POST. I would not recommend doing this on MSI boards because to get it working again you will have to reset BIOS to defaults (via PINs or CMOS battery) and that is a PITA. If you really really need to boot the PC in less than a minute then just never turn it off and put it to sleep instead. Power Down Enable setting however is a MUST for Ryzen 7 7800X3D and MSI boards as seen in the thousands upon thousands for forums posts You know what? Just avoid MSI motherboard like the rats in A Plague Tale
