But , I think it’s too late for Goans to come back because of the dirty politicians who have been greedy and made difficult for middle class families for decades. It happened to me and probably several niz Goenkarank. Goans in UK or other countries have forgotten who they were and their Goan culture. In Konkani we say “dekh naslolean dekhilem ani sol soith chabilem” … I know villagers from Goa whom I saw growing up with became drug edicts and are divorcees after spending lakhs of monies on their show off weddings … I know someone being married and has his own 2 ur old child who is an affair with a married woman who has kicked out her own husband . And there are more and more ugly family issues happening among our Goans we see now days on social media, Houston Texas and California are also worse. Who do we blame ?? It all happens in our own home , if we raise our children right with God fearing morals then we don’t need to see these dreadful days. Nowadays not even our own loved ones what to hear your opinions. As Jesus said “Why do you see the speck that is in your brother 's eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye?” We need Jesus in our homes , we need to pray Rosary as a family together and things will get better for all who are suffering with family disputes and suffering.
