After an hour of frustration with this thing, being sure it couldn't be removed, I saw this video and promptly rolled my eyes. "Yeah that's not going to work," I figured. Tried whacking the dome with dry hands, nothing. Reluctantly licked my hands, whacked again. And the dome nicely unscrews. Can't believe it. Thank you, sir. I was about to order a new fan.

same here. Didn't think it would work after a few slaps it loosened. Was getting ready to break the glass except I can't find a replacement.

Marietta, I have a 1999 mustang convertible, the owner told me it was manual to drop the top, his son was the only one who used the car so the owner didn't realize it was an automatic open and close. I thought it was manual so i forced the top down and when i filnally realized it was automatic I use the botton to close and now it doesn't close all the way. Imust have bent something, any suggestions? Are there mechanics that can fix this problem. It's about an inch short of being able to lock. Thanks.

If yours runs extremely poorly already, I seriously doubt a simple 'adjustment' is your fix. You likely either need a tune-up, new fuel filter, new carburetor, or new engine (depending on its age and hours

I have a weird issue going on I have that exact same carb it'll fire first kick idle and rev and doesn't bog but when I turn the choke on it won't raise the idle and sometimes kill it my other issue is when I put it into gear the idle will rise those issues aside the bike rides amazing and has insane power if anyone can help me out that would be appreciated I checked for air leaks and I can't find one I installed the spring washer and o ring on my air fuel screw put it back together and fired first kick air fuel set correctly and still the choke doesn't raise the idle and the idle will raise when put into gear although after the rest of the pieces on the air/fuel it made the issues a bit better I was able to adjust it out a little bit but it's still doing it, I wonder if I could possibly have an air leak but when the bike is in neutral it runs normal
@HorsepowerHouse203 ай бұрын
if a 250F has "insane" power, it is definitely running lean or something else is wrong. Those bikes are not insane. A 450, maybe, but not a 250F.
