Most of South London uses 3rd rail for electrical energy. There is a shoe on the side of the train which makes contact with the powered rail to pick up power for the train.

I love the class 220s, class 221s, class 222s, class 171, class 166, class 43 even the old Valenta Paxman engines that they used to have on them, class 158, class 159, class 175 and I love the class 185

I find the best station for tones is Crewkerne as there is a Crossing just up the line from the station so most drivers blow the horn when departing the station.
