I tried flying with Air India with their Boeing 777s a few years back and the majority of the seats did not have functional Inflight Entertainment systems. This appears to be becoming a problem on the Dreamliners as well, it seems. The aircraft itself is good, the overall maintenance appears to be poor. I hope Air India's new management creates a better inflight product.
