Too much drag forces , better common wings . It looks good but not enough. Well actually it depends on the application indeed

The CycloCopter needs THREE rotors: one left, one right, and one at the rear. That gives you roll control and pitch control. In particular, it does not need FOUR rotors. You can control the lift on a rotor by EITHER aerofoil speed control OR aerofoil incidence control. That gives you more than one way to control the thrust magnitude and direction of each rotor. Therefore, you can get roll, pitch and yaw control using the combination of rotor speeds and/or pitches. One imagines that the net speed for a rotor (in metres per second) scales with the craft's net flight speed. That will keep the local incidence for each blade within a steady/consistent range.

think this Cyclocopter like a insect becouse it flyes like a insect it has a vibreasion simelar to the insect has the vibration but it has a couter leg movement or any this balensing its darection of flight to have a perfect stabelity (so if we figer out a counter balancing system it might be great to give stability to this Cyclocopter ) and the counter balancing must be 360 degree any darection as we change the flow of thrust .

Awesome to see the concept fly! First saw a prototype in Romania a few years back. It was on display at the flight museum in Bucharest. Almost full-sized, but never actually flew. It had two counter-rotating, longitudinal rotors - really baffled me at the time! Google for "Virvas 4000" for some images.

Not really sure what the point is other than "because you can". The rotor blades are dead weight through half their cycle and the added structure to control their cycle looks like it weighs more than the rotors themselves. Also, unlike a prop or wing, these rotors are producing energy-consuming drag through half their cycle. Isn't it objectively worse in every way than a variable pitch prop pointing up?

@@libenasukro I did but... no. Everything I said still applies. The aerodynamics of them aren't complicated. They're interesting I guess but they don't compete with any other aerodynamic system in any way. The only way you can kind of make them seem more efficient is by comparing them to something not being used for its intended purpose. Compared to a fixed wing they literally at least quadruple the mass you need for wing spars which are the heaviest structural part of a fixed wing aircraft. Compared to a regular swashplate helicopter the're more massive, less efficient and slower. Compared to a gyrocopter they're again more massive and just hugely more complex. The only use I can think of for them is if you don't have the space for a conventional wind turbine they MIGHT be SLIGHTLY more efficient than a regular VAWT. MIGHT. Like I said, interesting. Not useful.

@@_JustinCider_ Yeah sure. The magnetron was invented as a compact radar source for allied bombers in WWII and it gave us microwave ovens. Its been a while but I think my biggest gripe with this thing is that they claimed its somehow more efficient or superior to quadcopters or helicopters or fixed wing aircraft. Its a more and more common thing to do in the scientific community: suggesting unrealistic applications to justify a proof of concept device, like all the people making 6dof wire driven "robots". As an application for this I could see a very simplified version of it maybe being applicable to MEMS robotic propulsion? I could also see some of the rigid structures here being replaced with compliant structures. There might be a future in that.

God has said in the Quran: { O mankind, worship your Lord, who created you and those before you, that you may become righteous - ( 2:21 ) [He] who made for you the earth a bed [spread out] and the sky a ceiling and sent down from the sky, rain and brought forth thereby fruits as provision for you. So do not attribute to Allah equals while you know [that there is nothing similar to Him]. ( 2:22 ) And if you are in doubt about what We have sent down upon Our Servant [Muhammad], then produce a surah the like thereof and call upon your witnesses other than Allah, if you should be truthful. ( 2:23 ) But if you do not - and you will never be able to - then fear the Fire, whose fuel is men and stones, prepared for the disbelievers.( 2:24 ) And give good tidings to those who believe and do righteous deeds that they will have gardens [in Paradise] beneath which rivers flow. Whenever they are provided with a provision of fruit therefrom, they will say, "This is what we were provided with before." And it is given to them in likeness. And they will have therein purified spouses, and they will abide therein eternally. ( 2:25 ) Quran

Because it isn't a propeller, it's a controlled pitch rotary wing, thrust is only developed, with in its rotation when the wing has an angle of attack, 6 o'clock, and 12 o'clock make vertical lift,3 and 9 fore and aft. Forward flight will be a combination of say 4 and 10 o'clock in one direction of flight and 8 and 2 o'clock in the opposite. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cyclorotor
