Castor knew he was the brighter star

okay i was actually doing math earlier so i kind of have an answer to who's older. lunar was created (or at the very least first appeared) august 11 2022. earth first appeared march 31 2023, but she was first mentioned by the creator february 4 2022, and at that time he said that she had been completed "a month or two earlier" (which i'm pretty sure directly contradicts other explanations but it be like that sometimes). lunar was dead from april 17 to august 1 2023. for lunar, it's been 637 days since he was created (august 11 2022). if we exclude the time he was dead (104 days), that means he's been _alive_ for a total of 533 days. for earth, it's been 491 days since january 4 2023 ("a month earlier") and 522 days since december 4 2022 ("two months earlier"). based on those numbers, lunar is definitely older (even if just by 11 days, if you count it as the smallest difference). however lunar has also said at times that he's "as old as eclipse" (what???) and i'm pretty sure the creator and earth have both said at times that she was with him for "a year or two" before she came to the daycare (although i might be wrong on that) so IT GETS A LITTLE CONFUSING.
