Anyone have the ph1400 and ph1420? Was it worth the upgrade? I can get the edger and 1400 tools only for $20 less than just the 1420 by itself… I basically think I’ll be using the unit as a hedge trimmer.

The cyber tank is £14!!!! The batteries are £600 a go the mowers £1100 😳😳😳😳 nice gear but that’s a prime example of a company yet again taking the piss on prices. No way it’s worth that much. I’d love to have a setup like it but I may as well work for free to buy it.
@mikedaygm5 ай бұрын
The batteries have an 8 year warranty. Tools have a 5 year commercial warranty. You have to take that into consideration. Along with thr fact its the only brand of Battery tools that you can leave fuel out if your setup.
@Karl-p6h5 ай бұрын
@@mikedaygm absolutely I get all that but it’s rediculous to charge £14k when most people don’t even have a van worth that! The other issue I have is how much damage are these companies doing mining all the materials for the batteries? It’ll work out no better than pumping oil eventually. Van insurance ain’t gonna be cheap either the extra weight costs more fuel, wear and tear on the tyres and brakes etc. they look good I can’t deny it but the only way I’d switch to a full set up by them is if they gifted me it 🤣 I have just looked at the proffesional mowers kress do which do look good value compared to ego ones which I’d never recommend after having a ton of charger and battery issues. I guess it’s still a long way to go for battery equipment.

Hi there. Just watched your video on the new ego 1420 power head. I noticed the motor has a high pitch wine in low position, which you had mentioned. I have heard this observation on other you tube videos from other people. You wondered if the wine would go away after the tool was used and it was “broke in”. Did you notice any difference in the high pitch wine after using the tool for a bit ? I am waiting on a delivery of the new power head. I am hoping the wine goes away.

What kind of battery is recommended for this machine. I will probably purchase this and the mower (with which I will get 4 Ah battery). I saw 1 review that pot Ego string trimmer on the last spot because of the weight of the battery which caused the machine to rotate if you had it rotated 90 degrees for edging. Ty

Love the Kress equipment, but it's too expensive for my gardening business. Ten thousand for the charging system, that's a lot of gardens to maintain to pay that off.

Hey. So I'm finding the Kress gear very tough and built well. Power is no issue and the charge times you get with the Kress Cybersystem is phenomenal. 8 year warranty on the batteries and 5 years on the tools is best in class.

@mikedaygm7 ай бұрын
Hey! I was happy with Ego tools for sure! Still haven't got s bad word to say about them but I don't really like the way their infrastructure is going. The idea of loads of amounts of batteries isn't really the direction I want to continue going in. I much prefer the way Kress are going forwards. Less batteries with 1 big power bank. The fact it also charges batteries in 8 minutes as insane too. So with those hand in hand it's for me, a much better way of working. Plus their tools are ace!
