Great video! My boss lives there and we can’t wait to visit! What month did you go? We’re trying to find a good time when it’s warm enough to not wear jackets. but not too buggy or foggy/rainy, which might be expecting a lot, lol! Ty for a great tour! We can’t wait to see many of these places!

How in the world do you do a feature on Maggie Valley and NOT mention one of the best attractions there? DWTT or Dale's Wheels Through Time is un unbelievable collection of historical motorcycles. From the earliest days of Indian, Traub, Excelsior etc. through WWII and the 50's and 60's. It's worth going even if you're not a gearhead! Dale Walksler R.I.P founded the museum, and his son Matt now does a phenomenal job of keeping everything running and restoring new finds. So cool.

@Blueridgemountainlife
@Blueridgemountainlife Ай бұрын
Hi - It's about 3 miles roundtrip all the way down, but you don't have to go that far to see the falls, maybe 1.5-2 miles roundtrip. There are a lot of stairs. Thanks for watching!

The Waynesville Farmers Market is actually called "The Historic Waynesville Farmers Market" My GF's Brother Paul has been selling there for well over 10 years his Booth is called the "Lott Farm and Apiary" He sells Honey, Vegetables, Mushrooms, Fruits, Herbal cures and remedy's, Gourds and Gourd Art, Stop by and ask for Paul. He is extremely Knowledgeable and a very good source for information on everything he sells and many other Subjects like farming and gardens and Bees. He also has classes and tours of the farm, on collecting Wild Mushrooms, Farming Mushrooms, Bees and Honey, and herbal remedy's. Oh yeah and he is very personable and funny as well.

@@dandtintennessee7675 You basically take the Parkway from Maggie Valley heading towards Cherokee. Then turn right on Balsam Mountain Road. Take the first dirt road on your right. that will take you onto Mollie's Gap road. The next intersection you reach is Hyatt Creek Road. We went right. Wow. Stumbled across this video. So probably I think back in 1981 or maybe 82. Just after my Mom divorced my dad. He and I drove this road together in a 77 Silverado. I have not been on that road since. It will be a trip with my Dad I will never forget. Both my parents are passed. My mission now is to drive this rd with my now adult kids. That trip with just me and my Dad will forever be one of my favorite memories. Bless you for posting this.
