That would have been my decision. Saving everyone else is more important than saving one Enterprise from a universe in which the Borg have already assimilated the entire Federation. Especially when that Enterprise has already fired on a friendly shuttle. In any case, the crew of that Enterprise are better off dead than returned to their own universe to become Borg drones.

Enterprise 54684 is obviously from a universe in which Zefram Cochrane from First Contact is everyone’s role model. Imagine an Enterprise in which the entire crew is permanently drunk…

That was a pretty tame explosion for an overloaded engine core. You'd think it would go up with blinding flash and damage a couple of the other ships near it.

It's nice that they brought Jonathan Frakes's transporter-created duplicate Scott back even if it is just a cameo as a (technically) different character. Probably took him forever to grow his beard out like that.
