I’m looking at this and it reminds me our neighbor who had so many children , her eldest was in charge. She made that boy so strong, his only soft spot was his little sister. Phylis was a ray of sunshine, an Angel with the dirtiest face. My grandmother was so fond of her , she started making clothes for her, handmade. The only day she didn’t come over , was the day she died. The neighbor sprayed poison on the cherries 🍒 she ate. Mom worked two jobs, by the time she got home , it was too late. Phylis passed away that night. Our lives became a little dimmer, laughter and mischief disappeared that day. Their mom sounded like sounded like Grandpa when she spoke with the baby & Phylis. That little girl was the joy & life of that family, just like Grandpa was the center of those children’s world

These were such good thrillers , and they depicted what a guilty mind could conjure. Just like they could depict miracles we couldn’t believe. These tales were supposedly urban legends which we always wondered after seeing on the silver screen- is it true?

The music they play is so hauntingly beautiful, you believe it’s all possible. And a miracle

It has been a while since I last saw one of these episodes. They are so hauntingly realistic, simple without so much fan fare and tricks . They recount how people really reacted and believed back in those days and areas. Thank God the Cuban came and reversed the image of the witch and superstition. The urubas brought the Santeria and people open to this mentality and beliefs.

Micheal Gough has always scared the crumbs out of me. He is excellent in his portrayal of evil characters. The first time I saw this episode it gave me the creeps. Just the idea of him having bodies hidden in the house is horrific.

His role in this film takes advantage of none of George Sanders' talents - his smooth, witty, even oily style. Try The Picture of Dorian Grey or All About Eve for a better outing.

Can anyone explain the "form" tiers? Example: Brook is a 6th-form, is that equivalent to a HS Senior? East tells Flashman he's not a 6th form, so he has no authority to "fag" him. So Flashman is a 5th form and Tom and East are 4th form? What about Forms 1-3?

Even though I like this movie, sometimes I wonder with low budget films like this if they only wrote two or three drafts, were under pressure to get it made, and went with the best one. I am not going to write a laundry list of flaws, but after hearing that brilliant dialogue "You're actually very pretty...for a girl," I was highly motivated to submit another comment.

My grandma met George Burns and Gracie Allen she said they were the nicest people that you would want to meet. My grandma has a picture of her and George and Gracie that they took. It's put up in a very special picture frame.
