That’s funny, I’m director of marketing at the largest real estate company in the USA. We still train people using Zig Ziegler tapes from the 80s. Agents are closing million dollar homes and praising tactics from 45 years ago. I think a good sales person with good tactics will still be relevant long after we’re both dead.

For 13 years ive been upselling RV services to RV owners simply becasue of the benefits of maintenance and the big risk of not doing it. When i tell them the risks is where i have them sold

It’s manipulation. I worked in sells, and they told us to “connect with the customers” “make them feel like they need it” Sells ppl definitely aren’t your friend, they are more of a scammer. Thats why I did go through with it.
