Rock'n one on my dive watch right now. I absolutely love this strap, and think it is the best type of strap over a standard nato, especially for a hard-use watch. I wear this strap every day, and can attest to how well-built and designed it is. Definitely pick one up if you can!

Thanks , I take ambein to sleep and often time do things if I wake up before morning that I don’t remember like eating get up the next morning and there’s a mess all over the counter. The other thing is waking up and checking my emails and finding thanks for your order.. no idea what it is till I click on it and see what I’ve done. I’ve got a ton of flashlights olight,fenix and nitecore. Woke up this morning and saw that I bought the firefly lite EO7X cannon. Watched a few videos on it to see what I bought then vids on this anduril ui and just got more and more pissed but don’t think it will be bad at all after watching this actually kind of like it I have almost every olight made so am very used to that UI..Now it’s hurry up and wait for the light it looks like an excellent light after watching the vids.. I 👍🏻 and subscribed.

I would prob dye the handle to a darker color. I find the lighter frn scales show wear and appear dirty over time. Doesn’t affect the function I guess but my ocd gets to me.

Love that the lid screws on and is not just pushed down. Had a lid on a Yeti come off and spilled the whole thing in my lap. But, you need to know which side you want the opening in the lid to be on. If you use the handle, the opening has to be facing you and can end up on the other side.

I bought my A2T five years ago and have worn it constantly since then. It has been on about 15 overnight hikes and has stood up to river crossings (and submersions). Plenty of falls, knocks and hard use. Although now with a little "character" it still works well. In my opinion this watch has five features that make this an extremely robust field watch: 1. Waterproof to 200m. 2. Raised edge of the watch protects the glass surprisingly well. 3. The recessed and offset watch crown protects the winding stem. 4. The attachment of the watch strap is though bars that are integral to the watch. NOT through pin bars. 5. The body of the watch is made from titanium and so is very light. On number 4. I once fell while walking the Louisa Plains in southwest Tasmania. Buried my left arm up to the shoulder in mud. One of the pin bars on my watch must have brocken leaving my expensive Seiko in the mud never to be retrieved. I have been dubious of pin bars in watches ever since. One last thing. The lume on the watch is quite good.

many of these button presses are actually designed pretty intuitively, in my opinion! for example: off to on: 1 click. easy. lockout to off: 3 clicks. lockout to on: 4 clicks (because 3 turn off lockout, +1 to turn it on from there) what's notable is that, to the firmware, 3C+1C and 4C are likely NOT actually the same thing, as far as i'm aware ToyKeeper would've had to actually make it so these intuitive combos work like you'd expect them to. without that work, 4C from lockout might've just done nothing, you would have to 3C, wait, and then 1C. there are many other examples like this, for example in the way you control which way the brightness will ramp. basically, yes, anduril has a lot of stuff to remember, but if you keep in mind that there's only 1 input (button) and more or less 1 output (the LEDs) to work with, it is _shockingly_ well designed for the functionality it offers, and ToyKeeper is obviously putting a lot of work into keeping it as user friendly as it can possibly be within these limits.
wow thats so hardcore, tactical, military and so field watch wooow

I've got three Spyderco Manix 2 LW knives, in CPMSV110 (Blue, CPMS90V (Orange), and CPM MagnaCut (Yellow). The size and shape of the FRN handle is very user friendly, and the ball-bearing lock is completly ambidextrous (I'm left-handed). This MagnaCut version has become a routinely-used fishing utiiity knife for me, as a 30-year SouthWest Alaska resident - for fish cleaning/gutting/heading/tailing. The only dowside I see on the this knife is that, as a folding knife it allows more external exposure than a fixed blade,. That said, I've been using it a lot for freshwater salmon fishing.

I got that color. One thing to note is that the color will change in time depending on what sort of clothes you wear. Mine got a red/pinkish hue around the edges, but if anything, it makes it look like it's a 2 tone color.

Thank you for the review! Because of your review, I went with the Stanley for two reasons: 1 - you said after 4 hours the ice melted and 2 - there was a sticker that said ice lasts 2 days! For me ice is important. It's about keeping the drink at about 33 - 34 degrees for a day.

Someone give me an advice. I’m still stuck for my first spyderco between manix 2 salt and native 5 salt for daily user. I work in office and in weekend I cut ton of boxes and bags of paraffin wax and maybe around the house diy helper. Looking for an user knife that I won’t need another one in a year or 2.
@tannernicholson46628 күн бұрын
As another person below said, the knives are basically identical besides the lock. The native is around $16 cheaper msrp. I think it just comes down to preference. Either is gonna do you great!!

Interesting! Might have helped to show people the flowchart diagram, perhaps post a link to one. You taught me that the strobe modes were adjustable! Thanks, you got a new sub. If you are ever bored, consider a how and why to adjust the temperature step down point, and what we need to know NOT to do. 😜 Some of the higher settings are a black hole for me. Thanks!

Thanks for your review. Ended up with a A-4T Super Yankee model, mainly because of size. ( A 40mm watch is too small for me.) Basically the same watch with some upgrades, like Swiss movement (which BTW, still don't line-up) hardened Sapphire crystal, etc. Found it on Amazon with 50% off, so it was a no-brainer. This is my introduction to Bertucci watches, and I like it so far. I have a Hamilton Khaki field in my collection and even though it has "prettier" finishes, I love the toughness and rough feeling of the Bertucci. Definitely a great watch for the money!

I put a Lynch blacksmith deep carryclip on mine and it looks great. Black and yellow works. 🐝 Is it fancy? No. Is it perfect in all other areas? Yes. I have many high end knives but this one is in my pocket and Spyderco is just an amazing and honest company that makes superb knives with superb quality steels. Period.
