Interesting conclusions! Your anti inflammatory diet did not work as expected for the current skin condition, but this anti inflammatory diet does work to reduce fat in only 8 weeks if you exercise every day with strong motivation and discipline! We have seen you working very hard in this process with a great attitude, your skin condition does not stop you from doing all your social activities with friends and family. Marce, I admire you with great love! ❤️

I developed the exact same thing last year. I eventually did an elimination diet. Couldn’t believe it turned out to be the apples and peanut butter I was eating everyday

Whaaat apples and peanut butter! That sounds so difficult to identify, but so glad that you found the culprit!

To gain clear skin, I decided to speak with a naturopathic doctor in 2022 and that has helped me SUBSTANTIALLY!! In addition to removing dairy, gluten, reducing stress, eating veggies and taking supplements that are catered to balancing my hormones my quality of life has increased..but there's always that lingering pimple and anxiety that has me think that I need to get on accutane or something else. What I've learned is that this is a journey but I do wish this was easier.
@mariacastano135 ай бұрын
I’ve been seeing many people mention that they finally went to see a naturopathic doctor and that was what helped the most. Thank you for mentioning this, I’m going to start looking into finding myself a naturopathic dr to help!
@TheSamaiya096 ай бұрын
Finally someone that understands the "obsession" with obtaining clear skin. I've been dealing with acne off and on since I was 13. I have also been on accutane, antibiotics, and birth control.. all helped but acne came back. While on BC I still had acne..didn't matter. So I definitely understand how you feel.
@mariacastano135 ай бұрын
Sending you so much love. This is a trying journey to say the LEAST. Something seemingly so simple as ‘clear skin’ often feels so far despite the massive effort. I’m right here with you, as are many like us, and there’s comfort knowing we’re not alone in this struggle ❤️

Ahaha that would be funny. Mostly just saying that I’m recognizing a pattern - perhaps I habitually eat/do something later in the week that triggers my rash. Good question though! 😉

Hi Maria, I am new to your channel but I wanted to let you know that KAISER in California is not great for patients who need real care. I was a medical biller and had Kaiser for 10 years. They are great for check ups, preventive care and wellness visits but if you can switch to an HMO Aetna, HealthNet and even BlueCross in a pinch. You will be seen by specialist faster. The healthcare system sucks in general in the U.S. I'm actually looking into Tia once my healthcare renewal comes up.
@mariacastano136 ай бұрын
Thanks for such a thoughtful message! I was starting to figure as much about Kaiser…kinda frustrating! They’ve been good at check-ups but definitely not specialist care. I’m unfortunately stuck on this insurance for this year but I will make the switch for next year, and will also learn more about Tia. Thanks again!!

oh also acne around chin is mostly related to hormonal imbalances. but you probably already got your hormones checked. I definitely recommend tretinoin. You can subscribe to brands like apostrophe, miiskin, curology etc. they start you off with a low dose and always check on you regarding how well your skin reacts to the treatment. unfortunately their consultations are also online but I think it is defintely wort to try out.
@mariacastano136 ай бұрын
I actually haven’t gotten hormones checked. I think this is my next step! Thanks for your thoughtful messages!

you should try tretinoin. it is the only thing that solved my skin issues. do not ever forget to use sunscreen though. and always moisturise.
@mariacastano136 ай бұрын
I so wish it would’ve worked for me! I’ve been using 0.1% tretinoin for about 3 years and still experienced breakouts. I did notice great skin otherwise!

New to your channel, but wondering if you’ve had blood work done to make sure nothing going on. Also, biotin can cause acne unless balanced with the right amount of pantothenic acid (B6). Maybe trying lymph drainage, look up Dr.Perry and the Big 6 (6 lymph areas in our body that can get stagnant). You’re spot on to try to figure out what’s causing the acne. Our body’s try to tell us when things are out of balance, I wish you the best of luck.❤
@mariacastano136 ай бұрын
Thank your for all of this information! I get bloodwork done every year and everything’s great, but I haven’t done any hormone panels so I’m definitely interested in that, also interested in lymphatic drainage- will definitely learn about the Big 6. Thanks again!! 🥰

I found some of the face soap and gentle moisturizers had ingredients that broke me out. Sodium laurel sulfate (SLS) is one of them. SLS is in so many products. I use Curology and they have a site called COSDNA that gives possible irritants to any product you type in their search bar. Skincare that states it won’t clog pores, even has other ingredients that can cause acne.

Thank you for this video. You are so beautiful inside and out. I haven't watched your other videos, but I too have had breakouts around my chin that can be completely stubborn although I don't have problems anywhere else. It can be really unnerving mostly because of all the beliefs we have about ourselves when our skin isn't flawless. I am curious about the tea and I will have to look into that. So far what I have tried for myself is going gf which I think it has helped. I have also tried to this beautycounter overnight "peel" that did work...but not anything drastic. Other thoughts: I have a belief that it is related to my reproductive area (I don't know if I read that somewhere or not)... but this was not a problem and is now that I am a mother? Peri menopause? I don't know ...maybe because I have a cyst on an ovary. Sorry to be tmi, but maybe it is helpful...For myself, I do feel like it is something internal going on and I do think diet is a huge part..and perhaps supplements also help as you mentioned.
@mariacastano136 ай бұрын
Thank you for such a thoughtful message and kind words, they really made me smile ❤️ I agree with you, it has to be something internal that’s off balance. I did a reproductive exam and everything’s alright there, but thank you for the idea, because it really could be anything!
@suziediva7 ай бұрын
Couple of things... you are combining 2 methods together, so you will not know which one worked and which one might be a contributing factor to the problem. Secondly, after consuming gluten for decades, when you stop, your body might go through a period of purging before it starts the healing... so I would say hang in there... don't second guess yourself every step of the way... that way you are adding stress to the equation. Just do eliminating the food for the 8 weeks. Pick up on nutrafol afterwards. I think clean eating, hydrating with water should resolve things in the long run. Try quinoa, millets as replacements & the gluten free pastas etc should work.
@mariacastano136 ай бұрын
This is such a thoughtful comment -- thank you! you're completely right, I'm throwing everything I can at the problem and hoping one works, but I won't know which it is. I'm going to keep going with the diet and get better at replacing gluten (quinoa, other grains, as you say). I just gotta keep going!

@@mariacastano13 it depends on what products you’re looking for! Rare Beauty is CF/V so if you like them already they cover most of the bases but I also recommend the foundation from about-face as it has skincare ingredients as well! Tarte is a brand whose concealer I’ve used before as well, but there are so many more I can’t think of off the top of my head. I know my friends recommend Good Molecules and Avatara for skincare. There are a few good websites to look into if you want to check on specific brands, Leaping Bunny and Cruelty-Free Kitty I’ve heard most often. And I can recommend a few content creators that only review CF/V makeup if you want as well!

So sorry! hadn't seen this comment! the recipe for this was actually super simple, the main stars are corn or flour tortillas and black beans (mushed with a fork). Spice it with taco seasoning, or any spice you prefer, and then roll them up, pop them in the oven for 10 minutes at 400 degrees and add some guac on the side. delish!
