Thanks for the video on Panhandle Rag.. Decided at this late date to learn Panhandle Rag, Steel Guitar Rag, and Sugarfoot Rag on the guitar. Took Dobro lessons 2007-2010 and learned the first two,,but then moved, retired, and moved again and the dobro got sidelined.. now hat I have time and a couple guitar’s I’m going back for some of the stuff I like. Len, Arecibo, PR 😁🌴🌴🎸

Man. I thought I had come up with something totally unique. 😂 I've been working on this exact chord progression using those open a and e strings and that exact chord shape for over a month. I guess KZbin felt the need to bust my bubble. 😂 Thanks for the tips. 👍 Oh, btw. You can do the TWO five one turnaround by taking the A shape up two frets to that B two chord. (I think you kind of did it once.)
@lessonswithguitarman Жыл бұрын
It’s a really cool tool to have in your toolbox. It just sounds pleasant to my ears and really not that hard if you understand what chords you’re playing. I haven’t watched that video in a while but I’m fairly certain I did use the A13 shape moved up to B13, but I’ll have to go back and watch it. Nice to know other folks out there have the same ideas I do! Keep on picking! You’re welcome for the tips 😎.

This is a really good tutorial man ! Sounded awful difficult when you played it at speed, but only o few hours into it I am able to play it slow without too many problems. All because of your brilliant instructions and tabs. Thanks a lot for sharing this with us, I think this one will be a lot of fun to pick when I get my speed up on it ! What are the backing chords ? Have not looked into it but seems it is GDGDGDGD... :D

One of my fave albums of all time! And this is my fave tune on it. I like the reasoning behind posting this song- this deserves to be played!! My band is going to do Down in the Swamp but would love to do this one too.

That's my favorite tune on that album too. I was hoping that some fellow guitar pickers out in the world see this and think the same way we do. The melody is just great in the Bela Fleck kind of way. Truly one of the best albums I've ever heard.
