Just looked at the manual and the head strap holder hooks not to the little opening. So strap it tighter like the illustration in the instructions. I was doing it wrong (and loose).

Of course the .308 bulged the hell out of it, you'd already caused a lot of damage to the plate, before hand. I don't understand why in every "Test" video, the same plate is shot several times. That's not really a fare test. You talk about the "Amount of Damage" that was done, but you're shooting it dozens of times 😂
@LibertySteele11 ай бұрын
You are right...it was already damaged alot before the .308. But it shouldn't have been damaged so much from the smaller rounds. It failed the test long before the .308.

Hi. I watched your review and I have a question did you measure maybe the time of the flashlight in the highest mode from full charge to go into moon mode because mine behaves like this after about 3 hours. Greetings.
@LibertySteele Жыл бұрын
Based on the specs they provide, runtime from a full charge starting on the highest mode will last approximately 181 minutes....making your experience on par with the specs they provide. MODE 1 OUTPUT: 1,000-470-300 lumens RUNTIME: 1+160+20 minutes DISTANCE: 535 meters LIGHT INTENSITY: 72,656 candela MOD2 OUTPUT: 300 lumens RUNTIME: 6 hours DISTANCE: 300 meters LIGHT INTENSITY: 22,500 candela MODE 3 OUTPUT: 50 lumens RUNTIME: 42 hours DISTANCE: 100 meters LIGHT INTENSITY: 2,500 candela MODE 4 OUTPUT: 5 lumens RUNTIME: 200 hours

I'm really tempted to get one but I just can't stand Olight's proprietary batteries..... Ugh hard to decide
@LibertySteele Жыл бұрын
A lot of flashlight makers are switching to proprietary batteries with their higher output lights to have better control of output, run times, and safety. I get the desire to have a light that can be powered by easily found common batteries, but Olight does make their batteries pretty affordable on their website.

I got one early. Like a few months ago. In the Olight prototype program. I took in in the field with emergency services. And had issues with the tail switch. And many times needing to take it apart in the field many time and the contact between the battery and the tails which. Not sure why this happed. It's fine now after modification. I honestly prefer the warrior mini 2 over the 3. 3 is better on paper but not in the hand.
@LibertySteele Жыл бұрын
I believe some improvements were made from feedback from those early releases. I would be curious how the official release compares.

I still prefer the original warrior to all the models to date!!!!I think it's just due to the way it feels in hand and how it carries.... tho having a much higher candela is totally awesome....I think I'm gonna wait to see what other colors they come out with!!!fingers crossed 🤞 they do a odg or desert 🏜 tan

There had been complaints about the old tail switch for handhelds. The old style did not always stand stable on its tail....particularly when using the magnet to mount it at an odd angle. Also, metal shavings could find their way into the seams. This new version addresses those. Now, I did just test it. The remote switch will activate and control the light. But it will not lock in place.
