I have been wearing a Donjoy brace for a dislocated elbow. It was never demonstrated to me, just put on by a p.t. straight out of the package. I have always felt it was too long as the wrist cuff impedes my hand exercises and also presses on the wrist bone. No one has offered a solution to this. The brace has also tended to slide down without a sleeve under it. I recemtly read that the cuffs should be positioned close to the dial. I will bring this up at my next session but right now I wonder if I should go ahead and slide the lower cuffs closer to the dial myself? I think the therapist will argue with me but I feel the fit would be much better. Thank you.

Oring fails from drying out resulting in no pressure. Unscrew the top fastener of the bottom sleeve handle. Exactly 6.5" from very bottom.(NOT the Guage) Turn fastener counter clock wise. Pull the piston out. There is an o ring inside that needs to be replaced. Go to local auto parts store and match one close enough. Spray W. D 40 inside the sleeve/ on new o ring. Wipe with a paper towel internally and reassemble. Your 150$ to 180$ replacement just cost you 50 cents to repair.

I had a knee replacement and was given this unit. Because my knee was numb I guess I couldn’t feel the pressure when it inflated and it put too much pressure on my incision site causing some serious bleeding. I have no clue why this would be prescribed to a person who has an incision site. Be careful if you are using this. It will blow up and put lots of pressure on your wound.

My representative measured over.my jeans and just used a tape measure.

I used on 2 years ago. They operated again and found non-union. It show the device was used 121 times out of 270. When I press once release and press again it show a smiley face. Does this mean it will not work anymore?

Who to trust more? European sellers define size M as 39 - 42EU, and size L as 43 - 47EU. United Kingdom, M 7.5 - 11UK, and size L, like 11.5 - 13UK. Who is right? I would like to check on the manufacturer’s website, but where is it? Why is he silent?

I have had 2 shoulder surgeries that required me to be immobile for 12 weeks each. The first time I used the standard sling they sent me home from the hospital with, it was meh; uncomfortable, not supportive at night, did not really work for immobility and allowed me to reach farther than I should and I re-tore my RTC automatically reaching out trying to catch something that fell. The 2nd time , I had the DonJoy shoulder cradle and it was so much better! I could take it off and put it on by myself. Sleeping in it was amazing and comfortable, and it did a better job with preventing unexpected movement. I loved it and recommended it to my ortho surgeon.

Ossur at 3 hr mark? If you want consistent and warmer (48 degrees) go DonJoy. If you want colder, go Kodiak (39-45 degrees). Ossur too much variation. Cube too cold at 3 hrs..
