You may want to try an alternative renderer e.g. DXVK or dgVoodoo2, it has tremendous impact on overall GTA IV performance. I have very smooth gameplay even on S939 Athlon X2 2.6 Ghz, 3 Gb RAM, gt730 2Gb GDDR5. For details see ant-sh.blogspot.com/2020/07/gta-4-stutter-choppiness-fix.html

@@SlavicSociopath use whatever works for you. If something doesn't work just remove the files that were installed by it. I don't really "promote" it - I don't sell anything and I don't even have banner ads there, just trying to be helpful.

@@SlavicSociopath there are rare cases of stuttering caused by monitor sync mainly with hi-end nVidia GPUs. See links in comments there for possible solutions, I can't help any more than that.

disliking. reason is the game runs worse than before. its whenever i drive a fast car in high speeds and theres alot of cars driving, it drops to 44 FPS, and its not even a staple FPS, 44-61 FPS. appreciate you trying to help but its rockstar fault for porting a broken game to make it even broke-r to pc :(

Kill windows explorer. Set draw distance to like 50, run around a little, and then set set it to like 15 and reload your game. Helps a lil more

delete the dlc save as long u have updates u have dlc, works for me speed ran 8 times already
