The blade system is designed to kick up and out of the way of obstacles. But we wouldn't recommend running it through a field you know is full of rocks.

How deep should the gear box oil be? I don't remember getting a dipstick for it!

Hi there, approx 2-3". The dipstick would have been supplied within the black tube, that is fitted to the cover. The ops manual would be in this tube also. If you need a replacement, can you send your details along with the machine's serial number to [email protected]? We will get one out to you then.

Just lift up the side and show what's underneath. From the video it does no more than any other flail mower.

Very nice produy. Would it be possible to add drain jetting unit and either a fire fighting hose&nozzle/gun or high pressure hand Lance and hose to one of these tankers. Thanks

Would this mower work on grass where I’d normally use a flail? I have 10-15 acres of grass about 2 acres of it is usually done with walk behind rotary mower once a week. And the remaining bits are done with a flail once a year. But if it would work where a flail normally goes. I’d be very interested

How much yield is left sat on those stalks!?! Major Equipment is superb. We run Spearhead however (Stubblemaster) on maize stalks. Great to see a UK manufacturer pushing into the US market.

@@davidw4970 it's interesting we are all very nationalistic over here. But at the same time we all know the good machines that are well built to last. Krone, John deere, kevnerland, McHale, kuhn, pottoinger, major. Keep well clear of any Italian built mowers, light construction won't last under heavy work conditions.

@@majorequipment I have a major 2050, 2008 model. I’ve timed filling from 3.30 to 3.45. I drive it in 540E at 360 RPM. It won’t really speed me up that much so. ?

hi a couple questions if that's ok.would this tanker be able to be used for woodland firefighting with the cannon if so can you also control jet to fan spray pattern ? could I fit a fire fighting hose reel to it? and what size would b able to be used with a fendt 313 vario?

Hi there, yes a tanker can be customised for any application. We have done fire fighting tankers with various attachments, controlled by remote if required. Can you send an email to [email protected] and I'll be able to send you details of commissions we have worked on recently. Your tractor should have no issue running one of the these tankers.
