This happened to me the other day, except I was upfront at red light, and there was no turning lane, only a shoulder. I assumed they were going to make a right on red, but nope took off illegally on green and almost hit me.

Not sure how it is in the US but in Eastern EU (or Europe in general) there's always either a sign or an individually placed light to specify if you can turn right or not, otherwise you have to wait for the green light.

In the US u can pretty much always turn right as long as there isnt oncoming traffic, but the reason the guy in this vid didnt turn is because he was trying to make a pretty deranged and impatient pass from the turn lane

In the US and Canada you can turn right on red as long as there isn't a sign restricting you

In the US you can always turn right on red unless a sign says “No right on red.” It’s the original “green” policy. It’s from the 1970’s when the law was passed as a way to save fuel.

Thought the drivers licence in Germany is unnecessarly expensiv, but when I see how people drive in other countries compared to Germany, i am happy to be driving here 😅

You really think so? I don´t know ANY other nation where people are driving more aggressively than in Germany. I think it is a big clichee and a platitude that German drivers are so great and that they drive so well, they just don´t. You can be going 140 km/h on the Autobahn - overtaking a long line of trucks because the left lane was clear when you pulled out and started to overtake. And then suddenly a dude comes from behind with 250 km/h and drives up extremely close to ones rear bumper, because it annoys the F out of him that you are "only" going 140. Driving on German Autobahns is extremely tiring. Either you go 100 km/h in the right lane - and stick to the right - or you have to go basically 200 km/h in the left lane CONSTANTLY to not be surprised by those guys who drive extremely fast. I have a car with ++300 HP myself - and I am not driving "Grandfather Style", but I think German traffic culture is crazy and I also think that it is beyond crazy that there are still "portions" of the German Autobahn, where there are no speed limits. It just creates dangerous situations all the time.

I think you are the stupid one. The Audi stopped before the stop sign and the flagger was asleep on the other side of the road. The Audi obeyed all the signs. Now, why the F are you sitting there with your wheels turned to the right toward a closed road?

Ah yes a piece of silly string (tape), a couple of flimsy cones and a prayer is what's now considered a road closure. If anything the driver clocked it fairly quickly considering.
