It is definitely something I am more proud of to make so I hope it will evolve into something great. So nice to hear from you again too! I Love flying and I Love this video! It so reminds me of this poem: ‘Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth And danced the skies on laughter-silvered wings; Sunward I've climbed, and joined the tumbling mirth of sun-split clouds,-and done a hundred things You have not dreamed of-wheeled and soared and swung High in the sunlit silence. Hov'ring there, I've chased the shouting wind along, and flung My eager craft through footless halls of air .... Up, up the long, delirious, burning blue I've topped the wind-swept heights with easy grace Where never lark nor ever eagle flew- And, while with silent lifting mind I've trod The high untrespassed sanctity of space, Put out my hand, and touched the face of God.’ Notes: This poem is in the public domain. Magee, John Gillespie. "Letter to Parents," September 3, 1941.

Part of the watchability of your videos is showing that you are human, and no one’s perfect. Also, this is a travel vlog, right? So A. It’s not supposed to be a polished film and B. No one says you have to edit and post them the day they are recorded. If you need a short break, edit & post the next day, as long as they are in order. Just a thought. Thank you for bringing us along!!

Thank you so much that’s actually really reassuring. I’ve been worried people will be upset if I didn’t stick to the schedule that I proposed but I’m glad that you think it would be fine for me to upload irregularly if need be. I’m currently at a festival right now so don’t have internet to upload anyway and so am taking a break which has been really nice ☺️ Thank you for being a part of this journey 🌈

Try to remove the 'kid' title from your channel because you are not a kid anymore. It might be hard, but change must start from small things. Also, make the end of the video shorter.

Your videos are delicious. but your videos are not getting enough views. Do you know why?
@SkiddersKid
@SkiddersKid 2 ай бұрын
Thanks!! There’s a multitude of reasons I think. I’m not making intentional thumbnails just using a screen shot of a frame from the vid. Also not thinking of titles till as an after thought. And I think as I’m making a vid every day they’re not thought out and planned. But it’s okay I’m not in it for the views at the moment, just in this for the experience! And then maybe in a year I’ll concentrate on growth, but for now, I’ll just enjoy the process and challenge of a vid a day 😄😄 thanks for watching though and taking the time to comment 🌈

Maekhlong train market is nowadays destroyed by overtourism. In 2002 I was the only tourist there. Nowadays it feels like the Chinese occupying everything followed by Farang influencers. Chatuchak market is quite interesting, I like the animal section even some would be a little bit critical about some shops. But interesting to se the snakes and lizards for sale.

Wow that's incredible you were the only tourist there! It would have been such a different experience visiting it before it was over popularised with tourists. You're so lucky you got to experience that. That would have been a wonderful trip. And I didn't know there was an animal section!! That's insane! There were so many stalls I got thoroughly lost. I will definitely look out for that section next time. How interesting! 😃😊🌈

@@SkiddersKid Yes, when my Mum and my brother vidited me in Bangkok last February (2024) we took the train. And a couple of station before the market coach loads of tourists (many Chinese) entered this local train and it felt like MRT or BTS during rush hour. 🙂 Yes, animal section is interesting, but unfortunately there was a fire some weeks ago. Not all was destroyed, but I felt so bad for the animals there.

I did use that coach service from Luang Prabang to Vientiane in 2018. In my coach there was each "bed" for two persons, so you had to sleep beside somebody on a ca. one metre wide bed. You can imagine that it was not the most comfortable night I ever had. Would I do it again? No, especially you have now the train service from Vientiane to Luang Prabang that takes around two hours (coach was 11 hours). It is just a waste of time to take the night coach. During the day it could be OK as you can see the beautiful landscape, but during the night? And even on budget it is not much of a difference to take the train. I did that in 2023, and it was a much better experience.
@SkiddersKid
@SkiddersKid 2 ай бұрын
Oh wow two people to a bed would have been uncomfortable to say the least hahah. I have heard some people have had to share beds before.. I'm glad I haven't had that experience just yet. We got the train from Vang Vieng to Luang Prabang and it was soo nice! Felt like a train in Japan. It would be a much more comfortable ride than the sleeper buses. Louis though is adamant about saving every dollar though, which means I have a 25 hour bus ride today that I am going on and there aren't beds in it either! Wish me luck. ;)
@hassanalihusseini1717
@hassanalihusseini1717 2 ай бұрын
@@SkiddersKid Yes, train ride is so smooth on that line. And it certainly gave a boost for Laos' infrastructure. 555 Saving each dollar sometimes is too much 🙂 Travelling is also for fun and enjoyment. But I wish you good luck on your long journey! 25h - wow - from where to where?
