Hello Sir.. Just wanna ask a small question about the inflation %. The cost plan is prepped for current rates. Then how should the inflation be added to the upcoming 5 years for which the cost plan is prepped? I read the relevant part in the NRM for this. But didn't quite understand it. How to use the indices to get an inflation percentage for the future.. Thanks in advance. 🙏🙏🙏

Hi there, Trying to forecast inflation 5 years into the future is almost impossible. All you can do is look at the current trends and inflation rates and make an assumption. Most people just add a percentage to cover the period from the preparation of the cost plan to the time the tender is received.

I don't think REVIT is used for this purpose. It is the BIM for BIM which can quantify / schedule materials to a certain extent.

I use BlenderBim, it's a free add-on for Blender, both free. If you can go through the initial stage of learning them it' s a good tool (but at early stage of development)

Can I still take this or not?

1. Calculate the inflation to a mid point of the contract term. You'll need to estimate what the inflation rate is likely to be. 2. This depends on the nature of the project.@@leebababu8219

Hi there, The format of a bill prepared using NRM2 will not differ from a bill prepared using any other method of measurement. Does this answer your question?

So what unit is used for disposal of excavated material for NRM2 just checked and noticed it’s blank? I know for SMM7 cubic meters are used.

It's cubic meters. There is a typo in NRM2 1st edition.
