Congrats on the top! I still play branded as well. I think it solves so many issues with the deck. Gets you that missing piece. Did you like running just 12 hand traps though? I think at that number board breakers would be pretty impactful. Can't argue with a t16 finish, but just wondering if its something you've considered and maybe tested before. 🎉

I liked the hand traps so that my opponent’s end board wasn’t as strong. Makes it easier to crack. Depends on the meta though, maybe I’ll prefer board breakers at some point. But yes, I much prefer the Branded package. The deck feels so strong going first with it

Skull, Lo, Sage and Fusion (Borreload if blind game 1) with Barrier and trap (sometimes Blessing if I have a second ritual in hand like Odd-Eyes. When you ritual on their turn you can then bring back Lo and place trap that way). If you don’t see Branded, it’s nice to end on I:P with trap as you can play around Droplets that way (CL1 Skull to negate, CL2 Droplets, CL3 flip the trap, CL4 I:P eff to dodge Droplet - this assumes your opponent didn’t send a trap for Droplet).

A thing to note about the dracosac line. He notes you can link the tokens off, if you use main deck riseheart to SS itself, you're locked to XZ for the rest of the turn.

In that circumstance you wouldn't be able to link off due to being xyz locked but if you use one of your Vanquish Soul level 7's instead of summoning Rise then you can make this play he mentioned

@@111IronSyde Ah I see. It's quite risky in the main as you could face a deck that it doesn't do much against, or they put up negates to stop it resolving. I want every card to count when I play, so a card like Imperm is just much better as it covers all matchups. If you like TCBOO that's fine, but definitely side it so you can just put it in against the decks it destroys.

For the Snychro 10 Play, how should Baronne work consistently? You would need to use a Handtrap tuner plus Fenrir, Chaos Angel can treat a monster as tuner at least

Baronne just feels more consistent because you run 6 level seven's and 5 level three tuners, where as Chaos Angel you are forced to use you're one of your 2 bystials and a dr. mad love. Just a lot harder to do Chaos Angel in this list.

What I dont get and please someone explain this to me. As for the current Master Rule isnt it forbidden to summon multiple Extra Deck monsters into the Main Monster Zones? So how does Bahamut even work? Isnt it illegal to just flood the field. Im relatively new, so dont bash me please :D

The most recent Master Rule revision means you only need to summon Link Monsters and Pendulum Monsters from the Extra Deck to an Extra Monster Zone or a zone a Link Monster points to, you can summon XYZ, Fusion and Synchro to any of your available zones :)

Hey, love the video. I was just wondering if you could elaborate on the interaction explained at 10:25 . So if you have the Chaos Emperor in the GY and foolish the starliege, you then can add the Emperor back to your hand by using starliege's effect. What effect are you talking about when saying "activating Emperor's effect - the pendulum or the monster one? Because neither really makes sense to me on why one should make such a play. What's the use if you basically use the foolish to get the starliege in the hand. Greatly appreciate an answer as I'm just getting started with YuGiOh again! Cheers

I asked VJ and he said "It's just based on the situation but what that statement means is that foolish burial can be a plus one by adding the seyfert like you said and (assuming you had materials to do so) a 3k beat stick, if not an xyz material. As to why you would add a seyfert, it does sound suboptimal but its just an example of a plus-one action

So, xyz remora is probably the best thing the deck has really as far as extension. Doesn’t silent anglers eff clash with it? Also, have you thought about either generation force OR whitefish salvage?

Silent angler and remora do clash but essentially you avoid using angler until remora is out (if you can) I am playing generation force and have added beautunaful princess to summon buzzsaw from deck too :) Waiting for Future Dragon to come out before updating the profile :)

Have you tried running water hazard? It’s free special summon level 4 or lower water monster if you control no monster

I have considered it, the only thing is having too many cards that do the same thing (summon from hand) as we already have Lantern Shark, Tin Goldfish, shthana and silent angler that do that too I appreciate the suggestion though!

It's more because the deck is already weak to Hand Traps and that is another thing that can be ashed unfortunately. Although it was something I considered. It just makes the game plan easier if everything is naturally level 4

I absolutely love this deck. My question would be what you would replace with right hand shark, left hand shark and utopic future dragon when they come out because im playing online and therefore already have these cards.

VJ used the super agents as level 4 extenders to make his synchro 8's, a S/T pop and also knowledge of the opponents deck
