Let's save Bear Creek Stables! We need more horses, more outdoor activities, and more community!
@tomlawrence7968Ай бұрын
Hi, don’t know a lot about horses, but I do know that how important animals are to kids and they’re growing up. If kids learn to respect animals they will learn to respect each other. They are such an incredible part of an environment. I really hope they vote to keep this rare gem in the community and I plan to visit over Thanksgiving and enjoy the horses for myself so glad to have seen this video.

Keep the stables! They’re part of our heritage as well as part of our future. They are a cultural resource in the historic sense and a social resource for our kids and adults going forward.

Save and expand Bear Creek Stables ! For all of us need this grounding connection to the animals!

My kids were introduced to Bear Creek Stables through going to preschool at Mt. School. They loved the animals and incredible natural beauty all around them. My daughter took horseback riding lessons there and we were able to lease a horse for a while before COVID. She has gone on to continue riding with Jenny Whitman and her incredible teen program. Bear Creek is a treasure that should be preserved, protected, and grown so that more people young and old can benefit from time with animals and the natural environment. ❤

This is a treasure that should be preserved, so they may continue their valuable service to the community.
What an inspiring video! Bear Creek is clearly a special place. I hope Midpen does the right thing by preserving and investing in this natural wonderland. This vision is exactly what we need to protect natural resources and enrich the community.

Marilyn was always a very kind and respectful person to us. I used to work on that property with my stepfather, pruning her palm trees and removing some pine trees she had next to her driveway.

What a lovely documentary featuring my cousin Marilyn that not only honors her family history in the Santa Clara Valley, but also honors the many hardworking Italian immigrants and others who settled there and grew an industry recognized around the world. The beekeeper and his information was a delightful and important highlight for me! I love bees. I think protecting and nurturing them is such an important occupation. It was nice to see Charlie in this documentary! My girlfriend and I cut apricots for Charlie in the early 1960's as he was very close by in Sunnyvale, and yes, he was frugal! We would see him picking up stray apricots from the ground and tossing them back onto the cutting tray. A nice gentleman with integrity and a solid work ethic.
