It probably did leave a crater but 80,000 years ago wasn’t there an ice age so maybe ice cushioned the meteorite?

It's curious to me how this environmental awareness has no politically quality to it when in the interviews you see white people talking about the environment and black workers producing the coal. This kind of limited sustainability is meant to enrich a white and nouveau riche black class and will not solve any environmental issues as long as the landless black masses continue to live in poverty. There has to be a tangible effort for wealth redistribution in this country or this biomass drive is just a band aid solution to a much deeper problem.

Funny how these videos don't mention that colonialism that led to the inequal distribution of land to a white minority and the depopulation of ancestral lands that happened with the genocide ecologically disturbed these ecosystems and ultimately caused bush encroachment. I don't see any accounts from indigenous Namibians, who are the majority, either they don't care about conservation and the environment, or their systemic economic exclusion has promoted a kind of apathy in the landless masses. What's clear is we need all Namibians to care about this.

This woman has a good heart. She would carry Namibia to the promise land, because of the heart she possess, a heart of a leader. As an unemployed Youth, she gave me hope to hold on, because "etimoumbwile oli dule ekuta".

Namibia is so fortunate that we have people like Mee Nangula, Gys Joubert and many others. One can clearly see that these people are looking for common objectives to benefit Namibia and I can tell the world that this approach is missing in many countries, even first world countries. Well done Namibia.

Mee Nangulas' vision for the Namibian economy is truly inspiring, and I’m proud of how she sees our future if we all work together. Thank you for sharing your thoughts so openly-it's a conversation we all need to engage in.

Our existence as human beings is rooted to where we come from. Our culture and its values forms us. It gave our forefathers a foundation upon which they stood which gave them values and norms by which they live they pass it on to us and we continue to pass it on to our children. Its a beautiful thing to acknowledge those that ahead of us for the are given the eyes to see what is ahead of us in our various clans. So even as young people lets not think this are things for old people but lets embrace it now so we give the same understanding to our children so they dont get caught up in foreign cultures but rsther find identity in who they truly are so they dont deviate from their path. Congrats to the King.🎉
