Congratulations on your work. Could you tell me what bind off method you use to finish the scarf? I'm trying to find a bind off method that matches with the long tail cast on. Thank you
@CrazyHandsKnitting6 күн бұрын
I usually use basic bind off. If the edge is wider you can make decreases while binding off. You may also try invisible sewn bind off.

I have a couple of questions about row 17. What does pm mean? And do you y/o before every purl or just the first one?
@CrazyHandsKnitting7 күн бұрын
Pm - place stitch marker. Make yo once to get rid off the holes that appear when we start working in the opposite direction

The instructions say to knit then purl the 7th row but wouldn't the 7th row be a right side?
@CrazyHandsKnitting8 күн бұрын
When you cast on and begin knitting, the first row you work is often considered the wrong side because the cast-on edge typically shows bumps. These bumps occur naturally from the way the stitches are formed during the cast-on process. The opposite side of the edge, which looks cleaner and more uniform, is often thought of as the right side. But you can always choose which side you like the most.

First time knitting anything and unfortunately everything went perfectly until it came to sewing up the top seam. Mine looks nothing as neat as yours even despite following every step :( Shame that I now have to find a way to cover such a bumpy seam, or just completely restart :( I've also got a little point at the back of my hood :(

It's beautiful. It would be EXTREMELY helpful, as a beginning knitter, if you would kindly include the number of stitches on each row, as they are being knitted. I've been trying to get the same results, and I've ripped it out four times and still can't get it. I'm going to keep trying, but this little addition would truly be helpful. Thank you kindly.
