A true Classic, iconic and beautiful piece of music history. Look at every member of the band.. Yes all the instruments are played by Mason Williams himself.

For some strange reason, I was just thinking of this song just two days ago. Now, that's what I call: "The Universal Mind"! Thanks for posting this.

Absolutely Incredible!!! I always get goosebumps the moment Ziggy starts playing! One of the many reasons I started playing trumpet over 30 years ago. Him and Harry James! Nothing compares to this good old REAL music!

Hallie Berry (Dorothy Dandridge), Angela Bassett (Tina Turner), Alicia keys would be perfect to portray Lena Horn.

Oh No! For it's PRECISELY the Dancers that add Gravitas and Perspective to the song's Deep Message......BRAVO from Acapulco!

In vaudeville, wearing blackface, Jay was Bert Williams's understudy. Bert Williams also wore blackface of course, and was the highest paid vaudeville performer of the era, African-American or otherwise! (A reminder that blackface is really a type of clown makeup.) Anyway: here, without blackface, Jay combines Bert's mannerisms and comic-black speech with a kind of vaudeville sissy-talk shtick. Very different from what we see in his long film and television career.

The best agent ever, my favorite was when Max was disguised as a German and Zigfred told Stocker to release the dogs , and all they had was a recording of dogs barking, Koas couldn't afford real dogs.😅
