The correct year is 1974, apparently there was an error printed on some DVD some time, somewhere. Either way, Schenker is godlike, he's one of the best and still going strong. This is a classic and epic performance, even with some imperfections, a lot of today's bands don't perform like this anymore, they're like static clowns with a laptop running in the background and pay more attention to their social media presence.... Did I mention Schenker is godlike?

3:14 a prize for whoever catches what he sings here... Even the official printed lyrics are wrong. It sounds like "double eye" or double eight" but I'm not sure. My guesses also make little sense in the context.

Billy Sheehan on (arse-kicking) bass. I remember this- first heard it in a Guitar World mag-inserted vinyl back in the day. The whole album is great.

In his book “A Fast Ride Outta Here” Pete Way mentions this show. He talks about walking the stage earlier in the day and looking at the big hall and the cameras waiting for that night and how Michael turned to him and yelled “Pete, we’re on American TV!” How cool is it to be able to have this video now?!
