Did u pay to do the second floor deck. Being this tall and not having a second floor decking. Cast to hold the pillars together. There is no way. This house is going to stand in a cat 5 hurricane. Even if it was built a week ago this is why there are building laws. Not having a second decking is absolutely obscene being 3 stories.

As a contractor I can say that shady work done in the foundation of this structure
@CuriousGNY3 күн бұрын
If there was a problem with the pillars, why not bring it up before. Contractors in the island give the owners exactly what they want. No matter what this house is top heavy and there is no way it can withstand a category 5 hurricane without reinforcement and the owner should have known better.
@Kingkong-bn6slКүн бұрын
You talking shit ,a house that size on concrete pillar should be standing still,if the job was done good ,no category 5 hurricane can't move that,you could see those pillars an too small an weak,you ain't no damn contractor if u can't see that an knowing we live in a hurricane geographic area so called contractors should be advising ppl on how to properly build there house incase of a time like this,the roof mite not stand UT the foundation of the house would be there an could rebuild

I just pray that the poor owners of this house get some justice. Your house is usually your greatest financial and emotional investment. God bless them.

A wooden house of that size against a category 5 hurricane. Hurricane win
@dianacharles93076 күн бұрын
Am not a contractor, but you can see it was a shoddy job. Those pillars do not look strong enough to hold up a housecof that size.

It's a good thing it didn't fall forward on the house next to it. Looks like the entire house was on stilts, rather than having at least one side firmly intersecting the ground. Why?

It is well known fact that carricoua has no defence when hurricane comes.so if ifsolar installed should be done with mechanisms that are easily dismantled.logical 👍

Our two cents. When you restore the setup, build concrete buildings to house most if not all the equipment then build a secondary concrete building with concrete roof to house the panels. There should be people on standby to take down the installation when a hurricane is going to hit or pass close. An ounce of prevention is better than a pound of cure. Next time please be more proactive. 🇯🇲
@52gulfpapa9 күн бұрын
Nothing on that installation looks like it was designed for 160 -180 mph winds, which be the norm for a utility grade installation in a hurricane area.

can you do a short video showing your connection circuit breaker box side? did you bond neutral to ground also? If so where ?

Yes I did Bond Neutral and ground because I didn't use the original ground for my house. I did a complete new grounding system. It my first entrance of my solar power. I will do a video soon about my ground system.say tune!
