Did the pole pieces wiggle when moving them upward?

i can't get the intonations set on mine at all. no matter how far forward or backward i move the saddle there is no difference in tune.

@myibmaccount - Hey Buddy! Yes that guitar is new. It is a Epiphone Rivera P3 which was a birthday gift from my wife. The guys I play with sound great and would make a drunk on a banjo sound good (smile). We have got to get together!

Hey I am thrilled that my settings were helpful in you finding your perfect sound. I can't take credit totally. I researched P90 pickups on the internet and learned about using the pole screws to change individual string characteristics. I adjusted pole pieces from a basic P90 settings provided by someone else to change my pickups from being dark to bluesy. With that same logic you continued to brighten a little more towards classic rock. Invite you to one of our meetups if you come to town!

@Darrell999 Darrell I adjusted all the pickup pole pieces the same way and then added and additional turn to all the pole pieces on the bridge pickup for greater tonal differences between pickups. I always use 09's for strings to reduce possible hand stress and hand injuries. Just love this guitar, it really delivers the goods.
