Probably the worst instructional video I have ever tried to watch. I made it to about three minutes before stopping it.

Nice job. My 4" shower PVC shower drain has a compression fitting and I will hopefully have it fixed this coming week. Getting the old one offwill ne hard as we cleaned and tighten it yesterday and now it is really tight (but still leaks) and was very difficult to losten the nut in the basement. Any pointers welcome. Thanks.

Bro you should watch some videos before doing the job which would make your work easier and perfect.. for example the way you applied putty and gasket ..but any way it worked out for you..👍

Just a tip… buy some cheap peel and stick tiles and line the bottom of the cabinet and seal with a caulk. This will protect the cabinet so if anything leaks it will drip to the floor and you’ll discover you’ve got a leak before it ruins your cabinet and underlayment. Plus it looks much more clean under there.

I would have used a length of pipe four times the length of that to give me some more to work with brother.

nice job, but i would have gone lower, and cut off the copper pipe in the cellar, run a longer piece of the pex, and put the shutoffs in the cellar. without knowing the layout of the house,, not sure if that would been possible, but shutoffs will not do much good, if you can't access them. (also, NOT a plumber)

How well are the extension cords for the camera's working

the main drawback of the Hiseeu wireless kit is that you can't change any settings which reffered to cameras net. It means you can't change SSID or password or IP network or anything you need to expand such solution.

Thanks for the video and congrats on your install. I did note one rather serious error that should be pointed out. You screwed in the drain fixture in and then attempted to apply the plumber's putter (and a very small amount) AFTER you screwed the drain in. More like how you would apply silicone caulk around the edges afterwards. You want to use a big fat ring (twenty times as much as you did) of putty around the bottom of the drain BEFORE you screw it in. The pressure of screwing the drain down will then force all the excess putty out the sides and you can just pick the excess up and wipe it away with your fingers and drop it back in your tub of putty. THis will leave MUCH more putty in there helping keep it water right. This will create a dramatically better seal than what you did by trying to push the putty under the edges with your fingers after screwing it in. You want to apply a thin bead silicone sealant along the edges after screwing the fixture down, not the plumber's putty.

I’m all for doing it yourself but making videos trying to teach people when you aren’t even a plumber doesn’t make sense to me you didn’t use a cleaner before gluing the pipe and you didn’t use the plumbers putty the right way and what’s even funnier is the people who don’t know plumbing saying great job 😂

I don't think you sealed the upper portion of the drain properly to the shower floor. You should have placed the plumbers putty around the flange and then screwed it down and not just around the flange before you screwed it down. I could be wrong here, but it looks like that putty will go away after a couple of showers.

Can I hook the cameras up to one PoE switch instead of plugging in a p/s for each? Uhm, I would have drill the holes up top so all that exposed line is inside instead of outside. Someone can easily snip all that wire that's exposed on the outer walls. Just an idea. Nice vid though.
