Hold up. Did I just see her not shake the collection tube and just throw it to the desk where all the other needles are. I've had blood work and this is not how quick the did it. Right will always be better than fast

Holy Crap!!!! Didn't hear no intro of phlebotomist to patient. No gloves big risk. She needs to get rid of the stress ball. The blood will be collected alot faster if you relax you hand and not make a fist. Fists are only for palpation before the draw

I had a nurse look for a vein and mark it with a pen for a solid couple of minutes before she ever stuck the needle in

I had the phlebotomist do the same thing to me when I was 16 years old. She hadn’t injected the needle into my vein and kept poking the needle in my vein. I was in pain and started tearing up. I was relieved when she was done with the blood test, but I did have pretty dark bruising for a couple of days.

My average for getting stuck with the needle 2 times but sent me home and told me to come back the next day and they were diging around a lot and the next day they got it and took 6 vials

No gloves, didn’t take tube out of vacutainer before removing needle from arm. Poor work.

That’s terribly done! I had my blood drawn in less than a minute, the nurse stuck the needle correctly the first time and then took 2 vials of blood, again, in less than a minute. I feel sorry for this patient

That is a nightmare of a phlebotomist geez ! 😳 No gloves, barely feels for vein, cleans the site then proceeds to feel for the veins AGAIN AFTER cleaning which basically defeats the purpose especially with those acrylic nails 🤢. And worst of all she had to dig for your vein 🤦🏽‍♀️ She couldn’t even get a decent stick on the second try. My guess is she was probably new 😅😂

There’s always that one person at the dog park that’s got headphones on nose in the book, not paying attention to their dog and obviously if they’re not paying attention and they don’t see the dog doing poop therefore not picking it up there’s always one or two bad apples in the bunch
