When I start a project like this one where there's danger of the knot following the thread through loosely woven material I begin by putting the needle through the cord then between the two threads down at the knot and pull it and that keeps it from escaping. This takes a lot longer to read than to do.

Where can we find the design for this? I’m working on a hat and I don’t know how to make a design for the length from the sides.

Where the heck do you find the 25 needle packs of john james needles? Having trouble finding affordable decent needles...last batch was beadalon and they snapped any time you put a bend on them. Thanks!

When beading a medallion, like a bear, where do you start? Middle? Outside edge?

I’ve heard other KZbinrs say they do all their videos as soon as the kids have gone to bed and another one who says she always does her videos as soon as her kids leave for school. I have three great grandchildren. I’m always surprised how noisy they are. My husband worked nights and slept during the day and our children were always very quiet and didn’t run around screaming or carrying on, but he still had to turn the TV on and use black curtains because the kids in the neighborhood and the dogs barked and all that kind of stuff while he was trying to sleep. I have a pack of blue beads, but I’ve used some before so I’m going to buy another one the exact same color and see how far I get with one. Bottle of beads.

❤nice work, but just maybe punch the holes in the hat before beading ,it might make it easier on your work project.( Use a thumb tack)🦋🏅

So my husband says his aunt and uncle do better beadwork than me because I beaded his hat and the beads are a bit looser than he likes. And no matter how many times I restarted, the beads still came out a bit loose at the corners. Is there a way to make those beads stay tighter?
