It has “quite” high pitch. I’ve owned baratza encore and wilfa svart before. Both of them sounded 3 times louder. This one has pleasant high pitch sound.

I’m having trouble getting pressure on my brew, any tips on being able to increase pressure?

If your flair still new, i assume it’s not hardware problem. Which grinder did you use? Is it fine enough? I’m using Comandante with 8 click (it ranges from 7 to 9 click, depends on beans). I always aim 35 sec shot, 9 bar, 17g beans, 40g espresso out.

That didn’t sound right…sounded like you choked it with too fine a grind. We’re you using the tapered slow flow basket or the straight walled high flow basket. You can’t grind too fine with the slow flow one.

How hot does the brew head become after having it on the kettle for that time ? Does it feel hot or just warm ?

The brew chamber is really hot when i try to touch it. it definitely depends on room temperature. In the winter, i can make adjustment with the water temperature. I always set it to 97-98 degree Celsius. So far i always used medium to darker roast, so i almost always get a good shot from it.

ini 8 klik, tapi tergantung beans nya, kadang bisa 7 atau 9 klik. Target biasanya 30-40 detik shot nya.

that's right, i use comandante without redclix with 8 click for 18 g of coffe. From now on i use 16g of coffe with 7 click, but it's espresso beans with a darker profile. Haven't tried light or medium roasted beans.
