Lie #1: God hasn't really forgiven you. Jesus was punished so we might be forgiven. Reject the lie that God is looking to punish you for your sins! Lie #2: You are nothing more than a sick and afflicted human. Jesus was wounded so we might be healed. Reject the lie that God can't or won't heal you! Lie #3: You are guilty, unworthy and so unrighteous. Jesus was made sin so we might become righteous. Reject the lie that you are not righteous before God! Lie #4: You don't really believe you'll live forever in heaven, do you? Jesus died our death so we might share his life. Reject the lie that you won't really inherit eternal life! Lie #5: Your life is worthless and cursed, so just give up. Jesus became a curse so we might receive a blessing. Reject the lie that you cannot break free from any and all curses! Lie #6: You will forever live in poverty. Jesus became poor so we might become rich. Reject the lie that you'll never make ends meet and you'll never be able to give! Lie #7: You should hide your face, because it's covered with shame because of what you did. Jesus bore our shame so we might share his glory. Reject the lie that what happened in your PAST covers you with shame! Lie #8: How can God accept you after every significant relationship has rejected you? Jesus endured our rejection so we might have his acceptance as children of God. Reject the lie that you are worthless because you were rejected!
