Yeah mate, its a habit I picked up while playing a lot of PUBG, essentially what its doing is moving your head hitbox left or right of center so it puts off the opponents aim if they go for a headshot. You will notice that when I do it its almost always after I have fired the first few rounds (if I am not peaking around a corner) and the opponent doesn't go down straight away, its basically muscle memory for me to do this so I don't really "think" nows time to lean I just do it naturally. Good observation though.

Hey mate, its another account on a PVE server so they don't take damage. Fun fact though, in really early versions of SCUM you used to be able to spawn a practice human NPC. It didnt do anything but stand there.

Yeah I get what you mean, I only switch camera side when coming around a corner like that when fighting and that is all, in general I keep the camera over my right shoulder as most players do. There is no point servers turning off the 3rd person reticle on hardcore because as you said, people are using third party reticles, its impossible to police it due to in monitor reticles which is why I think the SCUM dev's haven't banned the use of third party ones. It will always be impossible to police because at the lowest tech level, anyone can stick a little dot of blue tack to their screen and get exactly the same benefit. As I said in the tutorial, you don't HAVE to do it but be aware that all the top PVPers are. As for the CAMO skill, yes as long as the person doesn't see you go into the bush and you don't move it will de-render you. However this may be currently turned off and I will have to test it, the Devs were talking about removing the camo de-render entirely.

Interesting, I haven't got that error myself. SCUM hasn't got a MIDI setting, but it supports plug in instruments such as keyboards, I am just using loop midi to act as a faux instrument and the game picks it up and plays it. I am curious if you figure it out though because ill add it to the instructions if its a common problem.

according to scum patch notes 0.1.21.10623 [Dec 07, 2018], scum supported midi keyboard. so you need to open your loop midi & midi player FIRST. After that, open the game. It should work

Thanks mate much appreciated, there seems to be some issues with material penetration in the game so I didn't want to touch it (glass stopping a .50 BMG, chain link fence stopping 5.56 and so on). Thanks for the feedback!.

You can download old versions of games on steam through steamdb :) Its a bit complicated and you can only play single player.

Hey mate, if you haven't in quite some time then there has been several movement reworks over the years. Right now it feels good, I have several PVP videos on my channel that show how the gunplay and movement currently feels and its solid. As for the desync, you are going to still run into it with players with high ping. A lot of servers are running ping caps to try and prevent it, your best bet is to always run the game with streaming speed set to Epic which does help a lot with vehicle desync etc. I find more often than not I am not running into laggy players however it can still happen from time to time, it is a lot better than it used to be.

@@ComTruse1 what are you talking there!? the movement and gunplay in scum is absolute trash.. thats why devs already announced to change it.. show me just one serious game where you can lay down, jump AND do a melee hit in just 1 gametick (so basicly at the same time) if your char is skilled to rifle adv+ and high STR you shoot an AK like a laserbeam.. also hipfire is way to accurate (headshots from 30-40m from the hip while running LOL) if you REALLY think that they made a good job with gunplay and movement in SCUM you should try some other games and compare them

Hey mate, yeah I can look at making a tutorial on how all that stuff works. Essentially this one is just covering the basics where as the skills such as awareness, stealth, rifle skill etc would require their own in depth tutorial.
