Are you able to show me where the green plug from Mercedes connects to under the seat. Is it a wiring cable that goes to the towbar ecu. Could you please show a video of the cable location and if it has a part number plz

Please explain to me that green plug that comes from the factory, what is that green plug. Does it come with all sprinters regardless of having a factory cable for the trailer? Or does it only come with the factory wiring for the trailer. If it does not what are the connections cables please explain.

Not to complain about free content but please start with a photo of the entire van. Not having Ford numbers memorized I have no idea what vehicle you are working on.

@cyclevan do you guys make a kit for a sprinter that’s not factory wired?

This bracketing is really bad, I have the same brackets and if I ever have to slide under the van these hanging brackets are in the way. Not to mention they're not very aerodynamic and noisy I'm sure. Thanks for the install video though and I've found that Westin makes better bracketing (#27-2295) that will fit but it costs around $180. These are bad clumsy brackets in my opinion!

I was installing mine and the nut broke. What size is the plus nut. Maybe I can find another one at Home Depot or Amazon.

Just installed this. Thank you it works great!

I ordered mine got it last week waiting for a warm day to install.

Howard I finally installed my handle! I predrilled the plastic B pillar and just enough of the metal to mark the spot. I then moved the plastic B pillar out of the way. Used a magnet in a plastic bag under each hole to catch all the metal shavings. Painted the raw metal with primer then put the B pillar back, slipped the spacers in and attached the handle. Looks great, so functional. Great kit, most would not include the plus nuts and the tool to install.
