What was the resolution? Mines is now just clicking
@MattBalder Жыл бұрын
I took the machine apart and found no mechanical issues. After putting it back together and tightening the drum nut the clicking did improve slightly. I ended up selling it and getting a Samsung front load washer.

Hi, I've in Naxos too...always very windy...which drone did u use?
@MattBalder2 жыл бұрын
It definitely had some windy days for sure! I did get lucky and had some calm days too. I'm flying a Diatone Roma 4" LR deadcat frame with 4s 18650 pack so not a powerful quad. It does pretty good in wind though.

Hey mate. Using the ND filters helps as you know by now, but you really want to find the cause of the Jello. Using an Nd filter will not be viable in all lighting conditions. I had Jello on my peanut but only on one of my builds. It turned out to be a noisy motor. the motor was still working fine too. It wasnt until i spooled them up one by one in the betaflight motor tab, that i noticed one of the motors was giving me gyro noise around half throttle. Swapped the motor out and all jello had gone. Haven't touched the filters since.. I get my best results with the peanut set to Auto.. If you use the nd filters make sure to lock the shutter speed..
@MattBalder2 жыл бұрын
Thank you for the insight! I'm thinking that the horizontal mount I was using had something to do with the jello I was seeing. I've switched to a vertical mount but haven't done any testing with no filter in that mount yet. I did check the motors for noise and all was well. I've done some tuning that should help too. I'll report back my findings with no filter.
@Barks_Bridge_Dog_Training2 жыл бұрын
@@MattBalder Not a problem, i struggled for a while with jello problems on the peanut.. Nothing worse than finishing a days flying then realising the footage is useless.

hi! ND filter and TPU mount is the first step, then your quad needs proper tuning and the right props.

Thanks! I slapped the ND8 on it and jello gone. I'm happy that's all it took. Apparently mounting the camera with the lens centered over the top plate can help a great deal too.
